The Heat Leader List....

SCB

So we all got it wrong!!

37 on the list so no excuses as to why every team shouldn't build to the max and keep things competitive!!

Its all part of the longer term (5-year) BSPA plan for when squads and/or shared heat leader positions are introduced!!

By that time we' ll be into fan sharing because there won't be enough to go round.

TBF IMO on that list there's only 20 that would realistically sign for a season so it's 4 ht leaders short.

I could 'guest' once or twice at Wolves now the Aces ride on a Friday.... :D

Remarkable how Buczkowski has not been included. He was Leicester's second top rider at end of 2014, appeared for Poland in the WTC last year, and ended his stint with Peterborough as a heat leader, didn't he?

Exactly. For a list done on "feeling" and "opinion" it's shocking he's been left out of it!

The underlying rationale to this scheme is deranged, and its interpretation is confused. The list seems to have been drafted by person or persons who have a poor knowledge of speedway and have done it on a couple of beermats in the pub. If they had thought this over properly,it would have all been chucked in the bin, which is where it belongs.

I'm sure that if the minutes from these AGM / MC Committee Meeting's were made public, it would stop all these silly lists and rules that perpetrate of sport, in an instance. The people concerned would be so embarrassed putting their name to these stupid suggestions, and hopefully, common sense would rule once more.........

It would ensure that any rule changes would be pre-evaluated before put into existence, and ideas like the HL lists will be thrown out immediately....

And theirin lies the problem, the BSPA continues to hide everything it does instead of doing things openly to the benefit of the sport, despite assurances from the new chairman it's clearly business as usual.

It looks like the riders list from some 12-year old's fantasy speedway game has been used. I doubt there was anything as advanced as a proper meeting behind this one!

When you look at some of the riders on that list, the fact that Buzskowski is not on it is simply criminal!

I'm not a Poole hater. In fact I just enjoy the racing element and care a lot less about results these days.

I really do believe that the other promotions just throw their arms in the air and say 'just let them (Poole) do what they want'.

Think the promotions and fans alike aren't really fussed any more.

Agree fully about Buczkowski.

However, as regards Poole I think it's more a case of their sitting back, watching closely and waiting for a cock- up to be made (which is inevitable) and then moving very quicklyquickly to take advantage when they spot one

As it's a list based on feeling and opinion is terrible. Now if they have some reasonable criteria that sees Buzz sneak in then I may be able to say fair enough but I doubt they have.
