Sedgy

Recommended Posts

we would have him back at edinburgh in a heartbeat but respect his decision to go to Swindon as he needs to get more meetings, only doing PL wouldn't have been an option next year. Whilst it hasn't been ruled out a return to Edinburgh is unlikely as others have said he would miss too many meetings.

A second visa for PL shouldn't be too much of an issue during the close season and i actually think he has a falsely low average given the fact that for many races the best he could hope for was 2nd place behind cookie and would be worth a shout. when sam masters was out injured sedgy was one of the guys that really stepped up a level. He is a far better rider today than 2 years ago and still has room for improvement. He has a big future and I wish him well

Peterborough would be bonkers not to consider him and there are other tracks he has been phenomenal at.

He's riding Danish second division, which is Friday nights and would miss to many Prem meetings, nevermind Monarchs

Danish second division (I assume you mean Division One) is essentially amateur and meetings are on Saturdays. It has very few foreigners (Dominik Moser and a few Norwegians)

Sorry, I presumed it was due to reading that he was riding Friday nights in Denmark but I forgot that the Danish top league ride both Wednesday's and Friday's? Am I correct?

Pretty sure he would get more meeting riding PL

Would have thought so. Who Sedgy is paired with at Swindon could be key to his season in EL. Can't fault a rider who wishes to progress his career but I thought he would have had one more season in PL. wish him all the best.

Superligen is mainly Wed & Fri, but also some Mondays. However as the Danes use a squad system it may not be the case he gets to ride regularly.

And even if he does it is not impossible - only 14 matches. Michael Bech and Hans Andersen both rode for Friday teams in Britain and appeared in most of their teams DSL fixtures
