TheScotsman
Seems strange that hardly anyone on here has listed Justin Sedgmen in their proposed lineups. At least another point to be added to his average next season and a big scorer at a lot of the PL tracks. Gutted that he'll be leaving Monarchs it seems, but a big Thank You for his efforts in an incredible haul of trophies over the past 2 seasons. And a staggering number of bonus points not to mention heat 1 5-1s!! "When will we see your like again..."
Panthers89
Why wouldnt he be with the Monarchs? Thats why MOST havent included him, as losing Cook youd think would be signing.

He's gone to Swindon (same race night). I read somewhere that he might be looking to miss the PL but I suppose that would depend on getting fixed up abroad. Paulco
Surely Sedgmen can double up/down /sideways and stay with the Monarchs as well as riding for Swindon . Cant see him earning enough on EL fixtures alone
SharpenRake
I suppose Justin feels vulnerable without Craig to protect him.

Paulco
Riding in Denmark too. Which involves flying and is Danish speedway awash with cash ? Makes no sense Sedgmen not doing PL next season

allthegearbutnaeidea
Which involves flying and is Danish speedway awash with cash ? Makes no sense Sedgmen not doing PL next seasonHe's riding Danish second division, which is Friday nights and would miss to many Prem meetings, nevermind Monarchs
mac101
Heard it something to do with his visa they would need to apply for another visa to ride pl as the one he has only allows him to ride for one club hence why he never rode in any elite or guest bookings this year Edited November 15, 2015 by mac101
Paulco
Flies around the showground He certainly does , saw him at the ill-fated fours there and he looked very impressive He's riding Danish second division, which is Friday nights and would miss to many Prem meetings, nevermind Monarchs Fair enough , but Danish second division over British second tier ? strange move Heard it something to do with his visa they would need to apply for another visa to ride pl as the one he has only allows him to ride for one club hence why he never rode in any elite or guest bookings this year That makes more sense why he's not back at the dump

He's been well sheltered riding at No2 without much pressure and has come up with a 4 week spell where he was outstanding. I wouldnt rely on him being an out and out heat leader, he's great when things are going well but when there not ...... As for putting another point on his average, do me a favour. Was probably the best number 2 in the PL last season , but riding at Armadale every week falsely inflates a rider's average
Ben91
Can't see him putting a point on his current average, having three riders better than him in the team gave him an easier ride as a second string all year.
MD
Was probably the best number 2 in the PL last season , but riding at Armadale every week falsely inflates a rider's average Absolutely and there is little value in his average for Edinburgh to retain him. Riss on the other hand has plenty to come.

TheScotsman
He had 34 bp's in 29 meetings with a 7.62 average. So as a heat leader instead of cookie's wingman that makes a comfortable extra point a meeting even without any improvement in form. And his away average with bp's was 7.54 so not just a homer. Absolutely and there is little value in his average for Edinburgh to retain him. Riss on the other hand has plenty to come. Plenty of value for Edinburgh to have retained him but too many fixture clashes.
