Fromafar
Jesus, what's the big deal about parking,if you don't want to use the arrangements that have been provide, pretty sure you could still park in the street within reasonable distance of the Stadium. They not going to shut down Manchester for this event.
Woz01
You think the Russians will win the race off over Denmark and Australia? Brave call. I see them third being spoilers. For me Russia are favourites to make the final. Denmark and Australia haven't got a top 3 better than Sayfutdinov and the Laguta brothers. spanner47
Probably today- with riders known at about 2.30pm on friday I assume practice must be Friday morning if we've got to wait until then for the line ups. Pointless doing a prediction until we're sure what the teams will be. Can we assume the Aussies will stay the same? Russia should be stronger with Grigory, but it's the Danes who appear to have the option to change.
Rob B
You think the Russians will win the race off over Denmark and Australia? Brave call. I see them third being spoilers. Going to be very tight I think Australia will just do it, their riders have most experience of BV track and also having Mark Lemon who knows all the setups for different conditions. Looking forward to it. I assume practice must be Friday morning if we've got to wait until then for the line ups. Pointless doing a prediction until we're sure what the teams will be. Practise is 12.00 both days, think Denmark have already said they keeping same lineup.
screm
You think the Russians will win the race off over Denmark and Australia? Brave call. I see them third being spoilers. Â Surely their chances of making the Final increase if Laguta is fit, which it seems he will. I make Australia favourites, Russia second, Denmark third, USA mainly through Hancock will be meeting spoilers.

OveFundinFan
Russia are the spoilers on Friday IMO. If Emil, Artem and Grigory are all "singing in tune" then they could win it. Its just that Artem and Grigory can "do it" but dont always do it.

Being out of their usual environment also goes against them.W Forecast for both days is now good. Â Need advice on a good curry house near to Belle Vue Stadium so we can head there afterwards. screm
Yes mistake by Denmark to keep same team, surely Pedersen should be in the team. Â Seems Hans Nielsen has taken a dim view of Nicki going off on his hols during World cup week, I applaud him for doing so and lets face it Pedersens form has taken a bit of a nose dive this season, certainly in SGP. BWitcher
One of Woffinden's beefs with the BSPA was that they were not doing enough to support the riders. A pre season training camp as per Poland and Denmark have was arranged ,hardly anyone turned up. Now an additional behind closed doors practise session for GB riders ahead of the World Cup final is arranged and some riders can't be bothered. Remember we are not in the race off,we don't get a full meeting to practise, surely all the team practising together before official practise can only be of benefit in set up and team spirit. Maybe were that good we don't need it. Â Â Quite a few went to Croatia even one who couldn't ride on medical grounds. Tai didn't. Tai had an opportunity to practice yesterday and didn't, as captain I feel he should be there setting the example. It's done now and nothing is going to change regarding being more professional as a squad. Â Â There was no official practice session arranged. Â As a result, Tai had already made arrangement to test a new engine specifically for the World Cup in Poland today. Then further arrangements for himself and equipment to be transported to the UK. Â At the last minute Rossiter texted to say that Belle Vue was available if anyone wanted laps, that was confirmed by the father of Adam Ellis. Lambert already on holiday, Tai's equipment not here and already has preparations in place. Â If an official team practice for the World Cup had been arranged in advance and Tai didn't attend you would have a point. As it stands he was the organised professional one.

A ORLOV
I see Darcy Ward is back in the UK for a short while, he will visit Poole and Swindon Speedway and probably Belle Vue if able to.
