Speedy swindon pete
Former GP pole in humiliating loss to premier league Brit on world stage. The poles will be crying into their cheap lager tonight. Well ridden Danny.

nw42
Ugh, Rosco. Â Don't see the point in putting your best rider in at heat 20. The meeting as a contest could well be over by then. Might as well get us in the running and hope for the best in the closing heats with "weaker" riders. Â A long shot, but hope it works out either way. Â Â Great shout rosco, odds in our favour now, come on Tai, bring home the silver. Â Very proud of the way we battled tonight, great meeting either way.

salty
Not totally sure we should be quite so overjoyed at finishing second, but compared to most expectations that was a cracking performance. Good to see Cookie and King come good in their latter races. Much, much better meeting than last night. Congrats to the Poles, they were pretty awesome. mdmc82
Lambert and King both bloody awful; well done Rosco for leaving home Bomber Harris.Lambert tried hard but found it difficult although every point is important. King came very good in the end with a 2nd and a win and good from cook.  What a fightback from Team GB. Brilliant to finish with a silver medal.  Congratulations to Poland and our bees no 1 on winning the World Cup.  I felt confident that GB would get silver once I saw Lindgren was in the last 2 heats. Poor under pressure  As for Doyle, he was right. There is a really weak team in the final. 😂 Edited July 30, 2016 by mdmc82

Speedy swindon pete
Well done GB, couple of places higher than I thought we'd finish. Need to learn how to ride a track from heat one, rather than coming to the party in the latter heats. Â The poles probably can't believe how close they let the 2nd division Brits get to them, 20 days and nights of gruel and water as punishment coming up for them no doubt. Wolfsbane
I guess Woffinden knows how Hancock feels now. I'm not that bad! I like you more than Danes! Hope nxt time you can do well not being hosts. Its always easier being hosts! Still. GOOD JOB !!! Well done for not rising to the bait
stevebrum
2/3 years ago you had no clue who Woffinden is. You was like: "A Brit! A Champion! Hwo is he!?" lol S A D Put your brain cell in use. Tai signed for Wolves on his 16th Birthday. I'm a Wolves fan and I knew about him before he signed thru his dad Rob. That's ten years ago. Enough said. Â Â A great World Cup and the track was so much better than yesterday thankfully. SO proud of team GB and thank god for the main man Woffy, absolutely awesome. Â Well done Poland , fully deserved victory. As always the nation to beat.
Endeavour
Not a fan ofTai the man after the histrionics in Cardiff and previous behaviour but credit where it is due, what a great performance from Tai the rider and a great interview after the meet, showed a lot more maturity. Great mentality, not here to win silver but pleased with it. That is the mindset that great sportsmen have. Interesting what could have happened if Doyle hadn't been excluded. gB with a gold? Well done to Cookie, been a tough year for him and at last something has gone his way.
