gee jay
OMG, round 1 could quite easily be a final if the Russians bring their best riders. Certainly can't call that round group of death definitely , final ? not with the czechs.
screm
Do you realise, shockster, that Lambert, a very talented rider, is unlikely to get a ride from reserve? The rules state reserve can only replace an injured rider, not used to replace a rider not doing too well. Â Lambert is good enough to be in the four main riders, that could spell bad news for Scott Nicholls who may well miss out.
Daniel Smith
Does anyone find £65-£70 justifiable for just the final only in the Grandstand? Seems a pretty nuts figure if you ask me

Seems a pretty nuts figure if you ask me2 meetings (standing) for £27-50p will do me.Does seem a it pricey for Grandstand but it is a small Stadium and money has to be made. OveFundinFan
As I wouldn't pay that price I cannot defend it's pricing, however, there is a relative few grandstand seats so I suppose it's a case of supply and demand and so the seller can justify to put the price at a higher level. The buyer has a choice - pay it or not pay it. Seats cheaper in the temporary stand on bend 3-4, that's where we are.

OveFundinFan
Good shout there screen. Our tickets on bend 3-4 shows £5 for the semi on the Friday evening. They obviously dangling a carrot on Friday to get a good crowd, but it does offer excellent value for money.
Rob B
 Does anyone find £65-£70 justifiable for just the final only in the Grandstand? Seems a pretty nuts figure if you ask me Which have been sold out for weeks so obviously were justified.  I wouldn't pay them, I've got the £25 tickets but people do. It's the same with Cardiff never understood the people that pay £80+ for tickets but they do. Edited June 15, 2016 by Rob B
Steve Shovlar
Handy to call upon if needed though. The other argument is if you put Lambert in the main team, what happens if someone gets injured. Bates? I just dont get all this talk about young Bates. He must be well down any pecking order. Many British riders in front if him. If you consider Bates you should be considering Sargeant. Bates could possibly be one for years to come but right now there must be a dozen riders better at least. Woffinden Nicholls Harris King Cook Lambert Bridger Kennett Ellis Newman Starke S Worrall R Worrall Garrity Kerr Charles Wright Howarth  Off the top of my head are in front of Bates at this time, and I could have missed a rider or two. Problem though Steve is that if Lambert is in the 1-4 then the 5th rider must be under 21 so either Bates or Ellis as the rest of the riders on your list are over
OveFundinFan
So scot0311, where is it better for Robert to be..... number 1-4 getting all due rides OR... at reserve and very likely getting no rides.???

And thats got nothing to do with the fact he is currently in the Poole lineup. He is a far more accomplished rider. Â Also didnt realise the reserve can nly be used in the case of an injury, not tactically. Edited June 15, 2016 by Steve Shovlar
