Long Eye
, cant imagine for 1 second that any other rider would be so Ignorant and self absorbed that they would replace their hat and start talking and giggling like a complete tosser while their anthem is being played . Is that your main problem? Think if I had just won a World title I'd stood there having a w@nk.

steve roberts
think people stood on the 3rd and 4th bends as you could see into the pits from there The first and second bends had very limited viewing access at Cowley which is why the third and fourth bends proved popular. The pits were behind them bends, so some fans would stand there to see the pits action as well.

Tsunami
Only the home team as the away team was tucked out of site! I remember it well. I did like the entrance to the track from the pits, as if like gladiators entering the arena.

OGT
it's widely accepted worldwide that after winning an international event you will at the very least stand still while the anthem of your nation is played . You should watch MotoGP, WSBK more often/
The Voice Of Reason
I am proud of many aspects of my Country. I am also, at this particular moment in time, proud to wear a poppy for the many thousands of innocent souls who have given their lives. That said, I have never sung (nor stood for) The National Anthem in my lifetime. And I never will. I class the entire royal family as a bunch of utter parasites. And I find it sheer hypocrisy to witness this utterly diversive raft of 'benefit' programmes on TV; whilst the royals, and other nobodies associated within their blood-lines, continue to flourish; as the poverty gap widens to it's greatest since records began within the UK. And as a Socialist, I would kick them all out on the street tomorrow; whilst distributing their unearned wealth to the most needy within society. And as for their stolen properties; I would similarly convert these to give shelter to those who are forced (often through mental health) to spend their lives living on the streets; often with nothing more than a cardboard box in which to sleep.

Don't agree that the whole royal family as I think the queen, wills,Kate & Harry are important to our country future as to the rest of them yes a waste of space. I am always proud and respectful of our anthem as I am respectful of other anthems.
Popular Post SteveEvans
Tai Woffinden's situation isn't hard for me to grasp. I was born in the UK in 71 I moved to USA and have lived here since 98 and am a permanent resident. I'm heavily involved in American Speedway and its SWC team If we raced in UK I would certainly have pride in the British anthem I also get goosebumps for the star spangled banner When we have won qualifying events I have also been proud of the American anthem When we race I am driven for the Stars and Stripes to do the best we can When our tournament is over I'm rooting for GB first of they are still in When it comes to football its England all the way It is possible to have loyalty and affinity to two countries I consider myself from both, my birth and adopted countries Its unfair to criticize Tai or have any reality on his circumstances unless you've experienced dual nationality. Instead be lucky he chose GB. Edited November 10, 2015 by SteveEvans

Oh ,so because Im not Spanish Nor have any affinity to Spain , when their anthem is played at an event ,It's ok for me to put my hat back on and start talking and joking with the person next to me ,Who is patently observing common courtesy by standing still and keeping quiet for a couple of minutes while another countries antehm is played , Perhaps you should tell that to the English football supporters and the media , who made such a fuss when the Scottish supporters shouted and jeered through our Anthem ,, Don't agree that the whole royal family as I think the queen, wills,Kate & Harry are important to our country future as to the rest of them yes a waste of space. I am always proud and respectful of our anthem as I am respectful of other anthems. Problem is with a sytem such as ours , along with the worthwhile members of the royal family come the hangers on , and you dont get 1 without all the others Don't normally debate with speedibee, because he believes everything he posts is fact rather than his opinion. Wont waste my time any more. Sadly Blocking someone on here Is not the same as it is on facebook . otherwise you wouldn't be able to see this !
