Hamish McRaker
That's shocking.Where are they exactly so I can stay away from those areas ? Maybe there's some link with the fabled back straight bogs in the current stadium?

The White Knight
You see this is where Speedway lets itself down. It was exactly the same with the National Speedway Stadium. They announce that they will be building a new Stadium in a blaze of publicity. then, for whatever reason, there is a big delay. This is usually followed by no, or very little, information. People get totally fed up with the lack of consideration for those who come along and pay their money. Perhaps they think those folk are simply not worth considering? Perhaps the money is the only thing that matters to them. I hope and pray that a new Stadium will come about, and that the legendary Swindon 'Robins' do get their new Stadiium.
A ORLOV
The abbey hasn't got an FIM certificate so won't be able to hold it there We held a World Cup eliminator meeting at Swindon, would they have needed an FIM certificate for that? I am sure that if Cardiff can get an FIM certificate Swindon which is much bigger can.

The White Knight
I find this Thread very sad and depressing. Is the old Abbey Stadium still to be used for Speedway next Season?
