The timing of the building work is perfect from Gaming int ...Means that Swindon wont know if the work will done in time meaning they have to say they can't run in 2022 .

Another year then go's by and people lose even more interest before they find another reason next year .

Rossiter says they've had no contact, have they contacted them or tried at least?  Why don't they make a big thing about it in the local media etc?

How come it’s open 5 days a week during construction for greyhound racing yet speedway can’t return til building is completed.
Why can’t the stadium be closed on the back straight while the new stand is erected. Once that is up and running then you could close the other half of the stadium and demolish the old stand.
it’s not difficult

This is indeed the question that really needs answering

Fans will lose interest if closed for another year..not good news for those fanatical Robins fans. Speedway is going down the pan in this country, clubs folding, fan numbers down Just Cardiff GP for me next year.

Think it's quite obvious, it will be down to the lack of noise protection for residents.

They have still got 6 months to bulldoze the old stadium & level it to a degree to make it safe while putting together the new(ish) portacabins/building blocks for the opposite side with starting gates & referees box. The track is still untouched so will only need remedial work.
