Latest report in the local paper about the stadium stating that it can be built in a matter of weeks and that many of the bits needed are stored in South Wales and just need bolting together.

The delays are down to technical drainage issues.

I am unable to copy the article across to this post at the moment.

Was that a pig I just saw flying past the window ? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We hear so many different stories people don't believe them, and its best to say won't be a new stadium.

One of Clark Osbournes company's listed on Company's House is called Poole Stadium limited or something of that ilk

Doesn't mean jack, he still doesn't own the stadium.

I could open a company tomorrow called, for example, NewPooleStadium Ltd but it wouldn't mean I was going to do anything about building it.

As half the stadium has apparently been built and is being stored in deepest Wales it would be nice to see a picture of it to back up the claim.

Yeah well if I was you I wouldn't trust the alliance between The Council and Stadia UK whether you think it means 'jack' or not especially with talk of a proposed housing development in the pipeline....

And some of you really don't get what this guy is all about either so don't say you haven't been warned....

I'm just waiting for the story that they've decided not to build a stadium, but to build a Racino instead, which will of course take longer, need more planning, oh and then an additional financial backer.

Poole stadium owned by Poole council, not these bunch of chancers.

Smallmead wasn't owned by GI either, neither was the land they were going to build the new stadium on. Whenever GI start implying they're going to improve or build a new stadium I'd be concerned. Not that they have form or anything!!!

Think you'll find they bought Smallmead from Allied Promotions in 2002.

What Wackie meant was that GL had a short term lease on the land from Reading Borough council- and that RBC also owned the land where the new stadium was planned for. At what stage prudential purchased Smallmead I`m not quite sure of the timescale.
