Alan_Jones
Good news for next year with an expansion to 8 rounds and three new venues, although that means one of this years tracks is dropping out. http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.29775
alkadera
This is fantastic news. My son rode in this years series and absolutely loved it. It is organised brilliantly, runs super smoothly and everyone is friendly and helpful. Can't wait for next season!
*JJ
You don't have to wait for next year: amateur junior speedway is run by Scunthorpe speedway (Richard Hollingsworth) during the close season. The first one is today.

Blackadder
Not seen any Youth Championship meetings, but I have added the below comment from Rod Colquhoun, in case it gives food for thought. * One exciting new initiative for the 2016 Heffernan Motorsport Winter Series will be the introduction of Gold, Silver and Bronze race jackets to be worn by the top three in the series at each round (Top 3 series progress points). This is to assist members of the crowd to indentify the leading riders more easily on the track.
oleoleole
Neil Vatcher will be the next guest at the NSSC along with Lewis Kerr on Thursday 14th January at 8pm. Neil is saving a couple of major announcements for the evening regarding sponsorship and venues for the 2016 Youth Championships. Every penny raised from these events goes to help the Young Lions. Everybody welcome, admission for non-members is £3.00. For more details; http://www.nuneatonspeedwaysupportersclub.co.uk

Sings4Speedway
What a nice variety of shapes and sizes of tracks. Plus a major coup of getting a round at the new Belle Vue stadium. Hats off to all those who organise the meetings and to each club who offer up a venue.
Loyal hammer
Anyone have an idea when we'll find out whose in which class? I expect Bickley and Brennan will move upto the 500 class this year.

Tsunami
watching the speedway on sky, noticed one of the pit crew holding up a sign. looked like get well soon harry mcguirk, anybody got any news? I believe he broke his leg in the final at Glasgow. Unlucky lad in finals is Harry, remember a scary ride last year at Peterbough when he qualified unbeaten and lost it big style in the Final. StevePark
I believe he broke his leg in the final at Glasgow. Unlucky lad in finals is Harry, remember a scary ride last year at Peterbough when he qualified unbeaten and lost it big style in the Final. Broke his left arm in two places. Copied and Pasted from Team McGurk Facebook page: Back home from hospital now, my left arm has broken in two places I can handle the pain but devastated I will miss out on this years world final in torun. But I... would like to wish all the British lads Jordan Palin Danjoe Thompson the best of luck and just give it your all boys. I would also like thank all the people at the track that helped my mum and dad Paul Bickley, Anthony Bickley, Bob Curl, Tammy Buck and anyone else who helped. Hope to see you all at trackside soon H
mrscambelt
Congratulations to Kyle Bickley for winning the 500cc class at Glasgow a few weeks ago but have to say very impressed. I have to say I am very disappointed to hear that Kyle let himself down at the end of the race and winning the final by making a hand gesture to his other 3 riders. Personally I would point out the rules in the book and maybe a reduction of points would show a stand against riders and parents that this is a clean sport, or very quickly this will become more of a Sunday league pub football match unless its nipped in the butt. Nobody at any age should be bigger than the rule book and its respect and sportsmanship that British speedway needs at the moment. . 3.1.4 In the case of a rider under 18-years- old, his/her Parent/Legal Guardian deems to bear mutual responsibility with that rider. 3.2.5 Ungentlemanly conduct, fraudulent act or any proceeding in connection with a competition, meeting or of the sport of motorcycling generally. 3.28 Any act which is of a violent, threatening or abusive nature to any Official, rider or any other person. For the purpose of this Article, a prejudicial act shall be deemed to include (but not limited to) the non-payment offines, Licence fees and Meeting fees. 3.2.9 The use of any accessible form of media to propagate foul, abusive or offensive language, profane activity or fraudulent comments against any rider, Official or member of the SCB or deemed to bring the ACU, SCB or BSPA into disrepute . Don’t forget there are people out here who want to sponsor young riders and bring them on so at all times they must conduct themselves as a professional. Social Media is great if you can use it in the correct way, ie, Hancock, Holder, Harris. But don’t lower the youth speedway to a level that it deserves to higher than. mrscambelt
I see Brennan has very good sponsors and will be looked after by the Hagon company and i see he has wessex marine on his side as well, i have to say i have always seen his equipment looking smart and very outstanding but not loud in your face, also being very light helps him and as Sidney the robin said he seems to go very well around all the tracks, i would say he is a big danger to league for scoring points if Eastbourne put him in straight away. watch out for this Kid i rate him along with Rico and Bridger.
