Crazy robin
There has been no official list for the fans to see & why have some teams announced both riders when some havn't announced any.
SteveLyric2
Surely all clubs have made their preferred selections and are just waiting for some riders to confirm their availability before the announcements are made eg Swindon. Arson fire
Why are they using PL averages for the EL? Given most rode EL last year??

Can't think of anyone else apart from Ashley Morris or Stefan Nielsen who are close to Starke.  They may both be unavailable on Thursdays due to PL commitments.  As for the subject title question, I suspect everything was a little bit more dubious this year (more so than previously!) so they wanted to keep it quiet? SteveLyric2
Starke hasn't exactly done that well at Swindon - even though it'll be a different track.  Lets not forget there may be many potential fixture clashes which would have seen Swindon having to use guests.

Blackadder
The list should have been published. No argument.

orion
Started off open so the fans could see what was going on .now its all done behind close doors so we cant see how poole rigged it
heathen chemistry
Why are they using PL averages for the EL? Given most rode EL last year??  cuz its another one of the bspa's brainless rules, but if you look closely you will see that ''some'' of the riders have lower averages if you convert it from PL , now it wouldnt be wrong to say those promoters voted together to get a majority to have it that way......  herein lies the problem.........  bribes, deals, back handers, you scratch my back etc.........all so wrong ....no transparancy at all ........ Started off open so the fans could see what was going on .now its all done behind close doors so we cant see how poole rigged it  ha ha probably more true than you think..... g13webb
I can't remember the last time the BSPA done something, that was thought to be good. Every decision is either, clouded with conspiracy, open to deception or underhanded at best. This practice is always done to allow those in charge, the freedom to do what they want, when they want to.....but never for the sake of the sport. The contempt shown for the fans is not important. It is amazing how complicated, a simple sport can be. Â Until they appreciate the importance of being open and honest with the fans, the divide will continue, until there is no one left to deceive........ I think you have hit the nail on the head there Swindon have probably picked Nielsen. But if he re signs for Ipswich they ride on a Thursday as well so Belle vue are waiting in the wings.
Daniel Smith
Moaning about nothing. Â Do we really need a list? Â Just convert all British PL riders averages, just use a bit of common sense and you can roughly work out who'll be in it
woodenspoon
Why are they using PL averages for the EL? Given most rode EL last year?? Â So that Poole can have Newman on his nice low Premier average, instead of his true Elite average which would have put him a lot higher in the 1st pick, therefore giving them a poorer pick for the 2nd rider. Already decided between themselves and Lakeside, don't forget one of the main men responsible for the FTR lists is at Lakeside, and they work hand in glove. heathen chemistry
another point about the reserves, i take they arent taking into account what position they rode in premier league ,for example a rider at reserve will have a higher average than a rider that rode in main body ,  so a lot of the average conversions will mean nothing, just another loophole to fudge the averages for some clubs  a level playing field is wat the fans want, but the promoters are hell bent on bending the rules to suit....when will it end?

The announcement of Lynn reserves is not important , everyone knew that Poole would have the best riders. The draw is constructed for that purpose. Â As for Buster, it will be a brilliant appointment and no doubt he will make his mark. Although the announcement has been made, he hasn't taken over just yet, so any accreditation already earnt, will have to go elsewhere....
