Fromafar
take out the bits you want and then publish them! thats the Poole mantra. My point is that Jonsson has consistently been in the top 12 in the world for a number of years. His record is inconsistent (6th then 10th and as high as 2nd) but he IS in the best 12 riders in the world. I would say there isnt much between Vaculik and Jonsson but i would say AJ will be top 10 again and Vaculik would be like a Batchelor type rider. Its just wether you go for new blood or the same old. Lets face it there is only 2-3 riders who could win it next year and you will always have riders who will make only 2 or 3 semis. I agree AJ is still Top 16 GP rider IMO.He isn't running around at the back tailed off he is inconsistent but you still feel he could win a GP. There is never going to be an ideal solution to GP wild cards just to benefit certain nations.
lucifer sam
take out the bits you want and then publish them! thats the Poole mantra. What are you talking about? I'm certainly NOT a Poole fan You might want the same riders in the GP year in, year out (zzzzzzzzzzzz ) but personally I think there should be a limit of, say, 3 permanent wildcard seeds per rider. After that, they have to qualify. There's no way a rider should get up to 6 nominations, that's far too many. All the best Rob

All the best Rob I know your not mate just thats what most of their replys do, is take a line and use it to bash you with. as i said in my post nothing between Vaculik and Jonsson so it is simply wether you want the same riders. Personally i like to be entertained and in that respect i would have AJ over Vaculik. Riders getting the wildcard year after year is ok if they are the best option. (Harris wasnt most years) Apart from riders that dont want to do it (Emil, Laguta) it seems maybe a straight choice between Vaculik and Jonsson. No point having say Milik who would be outclassed just because its a new rider
Wiseguy
It's obviously all about opinions, my opinion would be that AJ is in to fill a quota, he is not one of the best 16 in the world, he would struggle to make top 20 If you are looking for riders who are better , and have not already qualified, you can only look at last seasons form, and not judge it over 3 or 5 years M Vaculik, P Dudek , J Kolodziej, G Laguta, P Protasiewicz , and even P Przedpelski have performed better in the last 12 months just a question, if Harris had not qualified via the official qualifiers, would there automatically be a second brit ? Fromafar
Let's face on form I the next couple of years The GP would have about 9-10 Polish competing in it.Not that I disagree with that fact.

I have to disagree with that. in 2014 maybe but not this season or at least not outside Poland. In Sweden all of them (except Dudek) have a lower average then Jonsson. Kolodziej and Protasiewicz are past their prime anyway and they didn't do particular well during their previous SGP attempts.
Wiseguy
certainly no arguement from me that Kolodziej and Protasiewicz are past their prime, but the same could be said about AJ I would have picked Kildermand, Hampel, Lindback and either Dudek or Vaculik still, it is what it is, and i think next years series does have most of the best riders in, bar Saifutdinov
Undercover Elephant
Why do some people feel the need to bring Harris into the equation?! He qualified and earned his place. End of. Because in people's minds, from watching his performances, it's his level to compete which comes into question, therefore it's a topic for discussion along with a million others. Good league rider absolutely, but at Grand Prix level it hasn't really materialised since his win at Cardiff. I want to get behind him and live up to my end of the bargain, so Chris must get a more consistent season at GP level to turn those doubters into believers again.
