drew2
Just looking at the updates and I am wondering why at Swindon last night (when he even won a race!) or in either match tonight Coventry failed to use Henry Atkins for any other/RR rides. Admittedly i am only looking at a computer screen for the updates but I know the kid is keen and will only get better by riding and testing himself at a higher level. I am sure he didn't learn much from sitting in the pits for both meetings, not even getting a chance when the 2nd meeting had slipped away from Storm. Maybe Henry would have been better off going to Somerset tonight for his usual after meeting blast?
Bees_Man
What on earth happened to the storm, lost by 30 at home. No wonder the crowds are low!

Maybe Henry would have been better off going to Somerset tonight for his usual after meeting blast? Particularly as the rider he beat to win his race at Swindon was Nathan Stoneman. Â Maybe he should have been the ones passing on tips to his team mates!
Gemini
So he was definitely there?

NeilWatson
Horton wasn't there, strange after his midweek plea for the fans to be? I was there, we aren't both always able to attend every meeting - the day job and families sometimes get in the way  That's one reason why each Club has a minimum of two promoters.

Thanks for the response Niel, I did see you around.  The problem is Mick is the face of the Bees promotion and this occasion it was hes personal plea to the fans:  Horton said: “This is personal for me, because it does mean a lot to me to run the kids. I want to run at this level, but at the moment the support just isn’t there for it.
Gemini
Horton wasn't there, strange after his midweek plea for the fans to be? I was referring to Henry Atkins not Mick Horton. Drew2 thought he should have been given a ride but I thought I heard he wasn't even there. Could be wrong though ~ I usually am.

You're not wrong Gemini, Henry wasn't at the meeting.
Gemini
Thank you for the confirmation as I thought that's what I heard David (or Peter York) say when he was announcing the teams, which explains that he wasn't actually 'sitting in the pits' doing nothing. Incidentally who was it that took over the announcing for a while because he was pretty good?
NeilWatson
That's Josh Marsh, who's been helping out with the music for a while now.
