E I Addio
Yes he did and clearing the track when he fell very quickly when against us but that was only because he thought he may get in the team the following season. Dont like him personally but he has talent and could do a decent job for his team although he will probably throw it away yet again. To be fair to Lewis he invariably clears the track pretty quickly if he falls, even back in his Eastbourne days. He is not one to stay down hoping for a re-run. Lewis might be a lot of things but I don't think he is a cheat. Now I come to think about it I can't remember him touching the tapes, being warned for rolling at the start, or being excluded for unfair riding. bigcatdiary
Giving up whilst last is not something confined to Lewis although he has been guilty of that, there seems to be a growing trend both in league and individual speedway where riders will pull onto the center green then ride under power back to the pits once the race is over or simply coast around until they are sure a gift point is not up for grabs then pull off the track at the end without passing the flag, whether the ref marks them as Retired from race or 0 I have no idea, I always mark them as having finished the race so when you look back at a program and see R R R you know the guy had an unlucky night and not just gave up three races on the trot like KK in the grand prixs. Referees mark riders who fail to complete the 4 laps as R unless they fall or are excluded etc, riders only get a 0 if they complete 4 laps and finish unplaced. Agrotron
How many meeting do you think it will be before Lewis throws the towel in again, are the betting shops putting any odds on it yet?
Hornsey
How many meeting do you think it will be before Lewis throws the towel in again, are the betting shops putting any odds on it yet? Hopefully, it will be just after we beat Poole in the second leg of the play off final

liam
Right enough bridger/Pedersen debate does anyone know the full line up and format of the spring classic only couple of weeks away?. So far it's AJ, Nilsson, Bridger, Kennett, Lawson, Swiderski, Mear, Kerr, Jonsson, Robbo and Morley I think mate.

And it won't include any Riders from Coventry, Poole, Somerset, Swindon or Plymouth nor Ulrich Ostergaard, Ben Barker, Mikkel Bech, Morten Risager, Ashley Morris or Steve Boxhall - and most likely not Bjarne Pedersen either... One of the few times I have seen a ref do that. I know he has I saw it but thanks for pointing that out againHad enough of Starman trying to dictate what people can/can't say or who to. Don't you start, one person doing it is more than enough! 😩
NickRushbrook
There really is no point predicting the league table. As we know, injuries sadly play a big part during the course of the season and in recent times, Lakeside have suffered more than most. Â I'm just looking forward to some entertaining racing once again and I think our team will provide at least that.
Steve Shovlar
Glad to see that in today's Speedway Star it repeats what I said Kelvin Tatum said at Poole last week, that he would have kept Bjarne and Bridger and got rid of another rider.
Starman2006
Haha very funny, Bridger has never been liked at Poole. By whom.. He has been excluded at Poole for unfair riding and nobody fell off!! One of the few times I have seen a ref do that. Had enough of Starman trying to dictate what people can/can't say or who to. Yes, and he also added "But unfortunately the purse strings wouldn't quite stretch to that" , a fact you chose to omit in your previous attempt at stirring. That throws a totally different perspective on it. Â One might as well say they could have had Bjarne and Emil Sayfutinov if the purse strings would have stretched to it. Interesting that Bjarne doesn't have another team place over here though. Has Matt priced him out of the market we wonder ?

It still doesnt change the facts that he would have wanted Bjarne and Bridger and cleared out another member of the team, regardless of purse strings.
