Phil The Ace
Has he asked for money to buy a bike yet?For me this is the year we see the real bridger. His bigger trouble was always that he wasn't making enough money out of it therefore treating it like a hobby. He is now a member of this new race team. And reading a interview with Lewis kerr sometime last year. All Lewis had to do was show up and race. Everything else is taken care off. If all bridgr could do was turn up. Race his bike and get paid without any or as much expenditures then I'm sure Lewis will become an 8+ man. Wasn't Lewis averaging nearly 8 when the new format come Into place. As HL to????? I am a massive bridger fan. He entertains me every time I watch him. So welcome back Lewis and I look forward to seeing you when lakeside visit Edited February 26, 2016 by Phil The Ace
foamfence
How many GENUINE world class riders do we have in the set up ? Only the one, but the last thing you need is someone with a bad attitude to disrupt the rest.

liam
He's had his problems in the past and at times he hasn't done himself any favours, I think the death of his mate Rico hit him hard aswell but he's a young Brit who does have the potential to be top class so why not back him. Bridger on top form is worth the entrance money alone at Lakeside I hope with his new team and set up at Lakeside he can finally reach his potential.

marko
Every British speedway fan should be glad Lewis is back because it's one more half decent Britsh .rider who could turn into something more substantial later on for Team GB. And also Lewis will encourage a younger element of support to come to Lakeside because he is a showman and younger people want to see characters as indeed do a few of us oldies.

I really hope you're right about this season and think that you just might be. I last saw him ride at Lakeside in 2014 and he was on fire that night, best I have seen him ride by far. markyb
Bridger over Pedersen every time (and twice on Sunday) This from a British speedway supporter. Bjarne taken the urine so many times and just rewards for the waster in 2016. Has he ever had any talent ?

Bjarne taken the urine so many times and just rewards for the waster in 2016. Has he ever had any talent ? On the other hand, Bridger has had more retirements than the household cavalry and has probably made as many enemies. It would be nice if he has finally grown up and actually shows the talent that he once promised, someone riding round at the back waving both legs about, tends to get a bit tedious after a while. He may not be as good as he was when he got 22 points at Lakeside including a win off 15 metres but he can still certainly do a job for any team, more than happy to have him back at Poole on his current average.

Lol how on Earth can you level that at Bjarne when of the biggest let downs in speedway is taking his place ...Not sure how times people are going to say lewis is a great talent and he's changed and this will be his year .
E I Addio
He may not be as good as he was when he got 22 points at Lakeside including a win off 15 metres but he can still certainly do a job for any team, more than happy to have him back at Poole on his current average. I couldnt decide between them . Bjarne is undoubtedly has a very professional set-up but its a good few years since he scored big points at Lakeside and even longer since he actually overtook anyone. He would need to turn the clock back at least 5 or 6 years years to do the sort of job he was being brought in to do. Maybe he could have done it maybe he couldn't , we will never know , but it certainly wasn't guaranteed. Lewis, well, he was in great form and spectacular with it in the last half of 2014, but somehow I don't think he will improve above what he was then. He had managed to correct the flying leg style and we didn't see much of him pulling wheelies at the back ( not that he was at the back much at that time), but the style was very much throttle wide open and hang on, without much finess. Plus he didn't seem to care whether it was his own team or the opposition he was taking to the fence. We' ll see what Kelvin can do with him. I am surprised nobody has mentioned Ed Kennet yet, who I would say is at least equal talent to Lewis. He came to Lakeside with his confidence at a seemingly low ebb after a few unhappy seasons but finished up being voted rider of the year by the fans thanks to his spectacular passes. His confidence still has room to improve. The guy was close to winning the British Final a few years ago and if he can get back to his best it would be great for him , and great for Lakeside. Big question mark over him but I would love to see him back at his full potential.

I agree with you there and Eddie did show last season a definate imrovement and rode well guesting for Poole, if he can maintain or improve a little he will do a excellent job. HAMMER180
I also agree ed can be very fast my only concern at our home meetings we now have 3 riders that like bombing round the outside which will this season have plenty of grip which was discussed at the forum so will there be team riding or all three going for glory. Tsunami
Bridger over Pedersen every time (and twice on Sunday) This from a British speedway supporter. Bjarne taken the urine so many times and just rewards for the waster in 2016. Has he ever had any talent ? What a crap statement. Look at what he has achieved and then compare with the likes of Bridger, + many more, and it will show he has been very successful at GP, World Cup and team level right from the start. The 'waster' comment is way out of order, and clearly shows you know nowt about Bjarne and his problems of 2015(not 2016 as you say).
