Pirates Of Poole
I think Bjarne would do a good job for the Hammers.
beckettlion
I think Bjarne would do a good job for the Hammers. Â Bjarne looked well off the place and was not up for it at all in the elite league last year.. But I don't know if that was due to a falling out with Lions management. If he was back to his best, he'd be a solid, second heat leader. If he's anything like last year, he'd be the first to drop from heat leader to reserve! B.V 72
Hmmmm.... Let's think this through......I might be getting this wrong and I might get wooshed but:- Â First Pirates of Poole, who is a bit more intuitive than most talks about Lakeside using a Poole asset. Â Then Skidderlidoo who is a bit more on the ball with Fat Maud drops a hint about Bjarne Pedalson. Â Now today I read in SS that said B.Harney is coming to an English club. Well, if he is he ain't going back to Leicester, which narrows it down a bit. Could be KL with his mate Paddington Bjerre who by all accounts has also been peddling his wares but didnt get a bite so has probably drifted back to King Slinn. But, it could just be that Bjarnes 7 point ish average fits neatly into what Lakeside have left and still leave room for Aub Lawson if the Glasgow thing gets sorted. Â Just speculating of course. We won't know for sure until Starman says no way will Bjarne P. Ride for Lakeside then we'll know he's on his way. With Swindon signing Grajconek and expected to sign Morris Bjarne won't fit into the Swindon side(if he is on a 6.55 average)so if he is comming back that leaves Lakeside.Leicester(cannot see it being them after last year) or Kings Lynn as the only clubs he could ride for. Vincent Vega
Please no Bjarne Ped he was a very good rider but is way past his best now. Surely there must be some younger riders around who will improve rather than another old has been in the side. We have had it with PK and Watt recently who start off well then fade away we dont need it again!!
E I Addio
I think Bjarne would do a good job for the Hammers. They already have someone doing a good job serving on the burger stall. What's needed is someone to do a good job supporting AJ as second heatleader.
The Voice Of Reason
I think Bjarne would do a good job for the Hammers. Why? Â He hasn't done a good job for anyone else over the past few years.
Daytripper
Why? He hasn't done a good job for anyone else over the past few years. I disagree. I think he has done a great job for Matt Ford over the last few years. Â His sponsors for 2016 are Seaview Coaches of Poole and County Crest Pallets of Southampton. Draw your own conclusions. Gemini
Looks like it's Bjarne then as Batchelor has now signed for Kings Lynn.
SteveLyric2
Lakeside might have a chance at signing Kerr if required at reserve now KL have had to drop him due to switching to Thursday night racing?!

E I Addio
Lakeside might have a chance at signing Kerr if required at reserve now KL have had to drop him due to switching to Thursday night racing?! It doesn't matter who they sign. They could sign Uncle Tom Cobbley for all the fans care as long as they perform. After all the promotion have been saying, if they finish up constantly losing matches at reserve after the 1-5 have out scored the opposition I am sure the crowd levels will fall to unsustainable levels. Same with the second heatleader. After being told that the promotion acknowledge that they need a second heatleader that can back AJ in the big heats I can't see the fans accepting a glorified second string. Â Of course, Cook coukd still pull something out of the bag, and a weak team on paper doesn't necessarily mean a weak team on track, but I do feel this will be a make or break season for the Hammers.
marko
Kerr would be a good reserve for us if Lewis Blackbird (nearly wrote Carl Blackbird, shows my age) actually does ride, quite what the chances of that are heaven knows but Jon must have had some dialogue with him before making his decision to name him. Whilst the averages of the reserves are now to be included in the teams total (should have applied from day one) there will still be an importance to them although not anywhere near as much as when all reserves were deemed to be the same value. The Voice Of Reason
As far as Blackbird is concerned, I just cannot comprehend our Promotions' mentality on this one. Â He's a very competent reserve. A good rider. But at the end of the day, that's about it. He isn't an International star, nor a world beater. And although not a gambler, I'd put a few bob on him never being either. Â Why are we still waiting for him to make a decision? The rest of the team-building is potentially put on hold pending Mr. Blackbird deciding whether he wants to ride again, or stay in retirement? Â Teams, including ourselves, have had to put up with this pathetic situation already; most recently with Mr. Bridger. It only ends in tears; and a team vacancy that kills the dynamics. Â As far as I'm concerned, Mr Blackbird should be given 48 hours to make up his mind. "Do you want to ride for Lakeside, or not". The fact he is still apparently 'making up his mind' hardly convinces me of any commitment. Â Can you imagine Poole standing for this load of boll@$? Â No, neither can I. foreverblue
Kerr a very good signing if the after effects of his crash don't play on his mind too much but why is he the only rider that Lakeside have signed on the BSPA site. TonyE
The absence of 'names' (until now) has baffled me given that 'announcements' have already been made with regard to AJ, Kim, Eddie and Robert.
