coldace
Indeed good news and shows the shows the longer-term vision of the management team. Does anyone know, however, whether Max Fricke has been signed? It was suggested last year.

PHILIPRISING
FULL scale races on the track apparently. "Awesome," said one rider. Doesn't erase the memories of March 19 but at least underlines what lies ahead for this stadium.
Phil The Ace
Yeh. The races they had were very entertaining. Proper chucking the bike at each other. Many times 3 rider were swapping positions all race inside outside 3 side by side. It showed what a great track it will be once bedded in properly Bend 3&4 was 100% but it was about 90% right. Another week of bedding in and more practice and tyre packing then the bed will be 100% by next friday
Notenoughnerve
Little bit of advice please. If I book online for the Leicester fixture do I get a choice of where I stand? I don't want to pay on the night as I have a suspicion it will be chaotic, but I'm hoping to meet an old work colleague and fellow Ace on the South Terrace. Any ideas? Oh and for the record I thought my 1/2lb Bacon Cheeseburger at the track was delicious.

damosuzuki
Superace,is it possible to walk round the track at the new stadium. EG at Glasgow now you can still walk right round in front of the standbut get your ticket checked at the actual entrances to the seated area.. so could you be on the terarcing and walk round to the pits? During the winter when our teams name were released, the Phrase "our own" and Max Fricke were in the same sentence.

No the stadium is slit into sections, south, east and west terracing, grandstand only for seating, can't move between sections at the moment but may be able to in near future. topaz325
Some of my relatives travelled to a meeting at Berwick a few years ago, it was raining all the way there and raining when they got there but the turnstiles were opened and my relatives paid to get in.......it was rained off a short time later....no refunds given...my relatives or myself will not be returning to Berwick Speedway anytime soon. I can't see that happening this season Rob, not with pricing structure. Be difficult to manage it i would assume.

I was asking because when I went online it only specifies 'standing' rather than any specific area.
