mdmc82
♣Fixture Change♣ The Aces v Coventry fixture scheduled for Saturday 7th May will now take place on Friday 2nd September.
Bradford Ace
Now means we don't have a home fixture for a full 4 weeks in May which is ridiculous!! No doubt we'll be scrambling to fit them all in again last couple of weeks of September!!!!!
SteveLyric2
Aces v Pirates now Wednesday 30th March (from 15th April) and live on Sky.
SCB
Typical speedway.Pick date that load of fans were planning to turn up (being a Saturday and early on at the new stadium) and switch it to a Friday in September. Speedway promoters (not just at BV and Cov), STOP CHANGING FIXTURES!
Reliant Robin
Think the Saturday referred to would have resulted in missing riders from what I'm hearing. Same as 15th April (see Skidders post)....Belle Vue would be missing Zagar. Shame all these clashes can't be sorted before fixtures come out...how hard can it be! Reviresco
Saturday, 7th May is the date for the 3 x SGP Qualifiers at Kings Lynn, Munkebo and Terenzano and had been announced back in November. In the circumstances, not surprising that one has been changed. (Leicester v Poole also provisionally set for this date).

Bellevueaces.co And what if fans down south buys tickets for your meetings, and you get the inevitable rain off's, and there is no date set for a re-run. Do they get a refund ? Phil The Ace
That you will have to email belle Vue. There is a ticket office on site that away fans can buy tickets on the day anyway

What you expecting, a full house for every meeting ?
Bagpuss
Perhaps there is a discount for buying in advance? I believe Edinburgh operate such a system.
Woz01
All clubs should really be doing this.

You can buy tickets on the day. It just gives another option for fans to buy tickets when they can afford to. Perhaps there is a discount for buying in advance? I believe Edinburgh operate such a system. No discount I'm afraid. What's bad though is that it's a £1 booking fee per ticket you order and not per transaction. That will put off family's buying in advance. But that's tickets.com that want the booking fee and not belle Vue speedway
Rob B
Why would fans want to buys tickets, surely you can pay on the gate. What you expecting, a full house for every meeting ? You can't pay on the gate as such, the turnstiles are fully automatic with bar code scanners. You can buy tickets on the day (or any day) from the ticket office for no fee. In the near future when the system is fully up and running you will be able to print ticket at home too or just have it on a smart phone. If a meeting is rained off, the barcode on the ticket will be reactivated.

Because many fans are not going to be able to get to any of the mentioned, therefore you should get a refund.

Depends what the rain off policy is this year, if I remember right last year it was the next 4 meetings and the rescheduled meeting.

So if you purchased a ticket and you cannot get to the above one would expect a refund, if your from Poole Swindon or Lakeside Edited February 10, 2016 by Starman2006
mikebv
So if you purchased a ticket and you cannot get to the above one would expect a refund, if your from Poole Swindon or Lakeside Would imagine it would be the same policy as always happens at every track since time immemorial... i.e. No refunds... Always worth a word with the promotion team though if already there or phone in to them if you didn't enter the track to see if you could get your money back.. Works very often to be fair as most promoters realise that you may not be able to make the journey again.. Presume it's the same at Poole or do they give full refunds for rain offs? Bet they also give everyone their accommodation and fuel cost too I would suspect...☺ Edited February 10, 2016 by mikebv
Bagpuss
Ah, Starman's 'can't do' attitude is out for all to see once again. There must be a problem there somewhere if you look for it hard enough..... Probably annoyed because Lord Ford didn't think of it first.
