Belle Vue 2016

Recommended Posts

Typical speedway.Pick date that load of fans were planning to turn up (being a Saturday and early on at the new stadium) and switch it to a Friday in September.

Speedway promoters (not just at BV and Cov), STOP CHANGING FIXTURES!

Saturday, 7th May is the date for the 3 x SGP Qualifiers at Kings Lynn, Munkebo and Terenzano and had been announced back in November.

In the circumstances, not surprising that one has been changed. (Leicester v Poole also provisionally set for this date).

You can now buy tickets for the EL matches over on belle vues website.

Bellevueaces.co

And what if fans down south buys tickets for your meetings, and you get the inevitable rain off's, and there is no date set for a re-run. Do they get a refund ?

That you will have to email belle Vue.

There is a ticket office on site that away fans can buy tickets on the day anyway

Why would fans want to buys tickets, surely you can pay on the gate. What you expecting, a full house for every meeting ?

You can buy tickets on the day. It just gives another option for fans to buy tickets when they can afford to.

Perhaps there is a discount for buying in advance? I believe Edinburgh operate such a system.

No discount I'm afraid. What's bad though is that it's a £1 booking fee per ticket you order and not per transaction. That will put off family's buying in advance. But that's tickets.com that want the booking fee and not belle Vue speedway

You can't pay on the gate as such, the turnstiles are fully automatic with bar code scanners. You can buy tickets on the day (or any day) from the ticket office for no fee. In the near future when the system is fully up and running you will be able to print ticket at home too or just have it on a smart phone.

If a meeting is rained off, the barcode on the ticket will be reactivated.

Thats fine, but for how many meetings will it be reactivated for, the rearranged meeting or the next 3 meetings ? Because many fans are not going to be able to get to any of the mentioned, therefore you should get a refund.

This is no different to every other track. Depends what the rain off policy is this year, if I remember right last year it was the next 4 meetings and the rescheduled meeting.

So if you purchased a ticket and you cannot get to the above one would expect a refund, if your from Poole Swindon or Lakeside

Would imagine it would be the same policy as always happens at every track since time immemorial...

i.e. No refunds...

Always worth a word with the promotion team though if already there or phone in to them if you didn't enter the track to see if you could get your money back..

Works very often to be fair as most promoters realise that you may not be able to make the journey again..

Presume it's the same at Poole or do they give full refunds for rain offs?

Bet they also give everyone their accommodation and fuel cost too I would suspect...☺
