Belle Vue 2016

Lemon sent a letter to the end of era dinner yesterday saying he can't wait to take charge again in 2016

Nicholls also sent letter saying he can't wait to ride for us in 2016

Fricke sent a letter but said he would like to be back. But never said he is coming back. So maybe Fricke won't be in team

Maybe he's just a more understated kind of guy?

Asset means nothing

Plus he is not officially our asset yet anyway. We said we are in process of making him an asset but there was never any confirmation regarding this

Maybe he's just a more understated kind of guy?

Yep, he's very down to earth and as got his feet firmly on the ground. He's a true gentleman and a all round top guy

I certainly hope that Max does sign for us.

I kind of took it for granted...................................................

Silly me.

If we don't get Max back then I'll be even more gutted with that than losing Zagar.

Think pretty much all clubs were after him last yr & couldn't believe we managed to sign him & then talked of making him an asset.

Don't think we have yet & if not then more fool us. Level headed young lad who has a big future in the sport.

Wasn't great at Kirky Lane so was looking forward to seeing him this season every week on a bigger track so hope he returns.

If not then I really have no idea who we will get to fill our team?? Altho got a very nasty feeling we'll end up with Stead & Batchelor and that will be the wooden spoon in the bag

Could we not just re-sign Zagar just to formally declare a team, never use him and run with 'Guests' all season?

We could pick and choose the best guest for each track on a weekly basis...

Come on, it is speedway, there must be a rule made up (one of those we the fans havent been told about) that allows it....

Swindon did it.

There we go, problem solved (file under 'custom and practice')..😃

We pretend to sign Zagar, Swindon pretend to sign Killer, Leicester pretend to sign Emil, Wolves pretend to sign Tai and KL pretend to sign NKI...

They can all then use Bomber, Hans, Scott, and Rory as guests every week....

(just like every other season)......😰

There used to be a rule that they had ride a meeting for you before you can have a guest for them. Not sure if the rule still exists though!
