If the Belle Vue lads are unavailable for a Friday night does that mean it will be Blacklock though?

He looked fantastic spinning round the Dale Scots.....reminded me of young Fricke at Stormy's testimonial

He had great balance and slid it round with great style.

Fair enough - good luck to the lad.

Hope he doesn't feel he has to try too hard.

Will be hard for the lad going straight into pl racing he has only ever doing 2 amature meetings around scunny but should manage a few points if stays on which he will around Armadale as most new pl reserve riders riding there will struggle to get around it just look at Ryan Blacklock don't think he managed 4 laps on Friday night and he is a decent NL rider eith a few years experience in the NL pretty sure he will only be there till Mitch gets his visa

Bewley to you I hear. Deffo signed for a PL club. So got to be you

Has signed a full contract with BV :-

As it states "“It’s important to note that in addition to his National League commitments he will also be taking a Premier League No.7 berth, but this will not interfere with any fixtures pertaining to Belle Vue."

and given Colts home matches are on Fridays, it would appear he is destined for a PL side with a home race night other than a Friday.

The Colts first Friday night meeting is the 29th of April, so I'm guessing BV have been told that he should be replaced by Mitch (assuming that's what the plan is anyway) by that date, hence there being no fixture clashes at the moment..

Also, will BV not get priority as he is their asset, or does it not work that way in the NL?

Odd, because Edinburgh are the only team that don't have a #7. In fact, according to the current green sheets, they don't have any riders at all.

That could be the answer then. PL takes priority over NL.

Sure i read on here that PL no 7s were guaranteed a minimum of 4 home meetings from the start.

If this 4 only applies to official fixtures, then that would be completed later than 29/4.

Also no guarantee as to when Davey will be given UK Citizenship.

every other team has a NL reserve apart from us, so who else is it going to be.

The BV announcement does not state when Bewley will be joining a PL side.

It could be that an existing PL no. 7 at a non Friday track (e.g. Sheffield, Worky, Newcastle etc.) could be replaced by him after completion of the their 4 match stint
