crescent girl
G42 is Battlefield. Quite appropriate, for Tigers/Monarchs matches.
Fromafar
Best wishes and good health to Mike Hunter in his decision to take a step back from his duties at Edinburgh. Dam, just bumped the Monarchs to the top of the page. Mike's devotion to cause of Monarchs is legendary his work behind the scenes is probably one of the reason the Monarchs still exist IMO .Wish him well and in good health on his semi - retirement.
TheScotsman
Battlefield - what a great name for an area.
crescent girl
Battlefield - what a great name for an area. Â From 1568. The last hurrah for Mary Queen of Scots (Catholic) whose army lost to that of her brother James (Protestant). Â The area is close to Hampden Park, where Rangers and Celtic have, over the past century, staged many re-enactments.
damosuzuki
See the Mckenna's have joined the directors. Aside from all the nonsense, I think this could be a good thing for Edinburgh, as they have experience of running and marketing a profitable commercial enterprise. Â Â * Just seen Blob the mole had already posted this. Apols. Edited February 26, 2016 by damosuzuki
Mr Blobby
The owners of Armadale Stadium have indicated they will undertake a public consultation on a proposal to change the use of the land to residential. The consultation will take place at the stadium on 18 April from noon to 8pm. Â This was posted by a local politician of the armadale area in last half an hour not exactly the news you want to here with the season only a month away. To The Point
Who owns the stadium thanks? I am sure it was he Swallies lot, that told me last September while at Pardubice, that Armadale was secure for 10 years.
Mr Blobby
Who owns the stadium thanks? Â It was owned by the Cochrane family, who bought the stadium 3 years ago. Over that time they had done slight improvements to make things better and had become fans off the speedway also, even attending some away matches.
