stewmac
Only as he had the safety blanket of riding with the #1 PL rider for most of his time. I don't get this comment at all. If Cook hadn't been riding in these heats, the likelihood is that Sedgy's average would have been significantly higher.
TheScotsman
That's a bit disingenuous Dekks. He earned his points on the track. Cookie wasn't protecting his back all the time. He was having to beat heat leaders as well as just second strings. He does have a few tracks that seem to faze him but not many.

Got to agree 100% with theScotsman here, there was no Cookie at number 1 when the Monarchs returned Justin to 2 to steady the ship with Masters in a slump.
Mr Blobby
The deal with Swindon was done in October. Signing him again for this season was never going to happen as he would miss far to many seasons. It's a shame that he has to move on as I would of loved to see how he would of progressed in the 3rd heat leader role. Anyway hope next year goes well for him as he has worked hard and knows where he wants to get to in the sport, so best of luck to him.
Endeavour
Open secret Justin was Swindon bound. The guy played his part in our success over the past 2 seasons and all the Blue and Gold fans should acknowledge that. Of course he benefitted riding with Cookie, what rider wouldn't. Justin was immense in the play off semis at Peterborough. He seems to like to be liked and thrived in the family atmosphere at Edinburgh. It will be interesting to see how he gets on at Swindon with new track, new team mates and Mr Rossiter. In the Elite league semi-final play off there was seven individuals riding for the Robins, didn't seem much of a team. Wish the guy all the best, he served us well.

Gavan
where are Edinburgh going to find someone to replace the scoring power of Cook? where are Edinburgh going to find someone to replace a second string like Sedgeman? season of struggle looks likely

Dunno who Sedgeman is, but I'm sure Erik will go a decent way to filling the gap left by Justin. Between him and Max Clegg you are looking at 3 to 4 points improvement on their averages. But you carry on believing we'll struggle Gav - it'll help you dull the pain of how many trophyless years?

Mr Blobby
Always positive is old Gavan. You have just got to love him. I feel privileged that he has taken time out of his posting obsessive poole stuff to give us a visit on here truly honoured. Anyway good to have erik on board again for next year, seen all the tracks now and knows what British speedway is all about so should put a point on that starting average for sure. TheScotsman
suprised, you dont usually post deluded sh!te like this Scotsman. Not deluded at all. I would certainly expect Erik to add 1 to 1.5 points on his average. He was world long track champion last year so has a pedigree. He has now been to all the tracks. And he was making heat 14 his own home and away last season. Max was going well at the end of last season. He too has seen all the tracks. But most significantly he will be riding against wobblers (including his reserve partner) in 2 or 3 races which he wasn't last season. So I would expect an increase of 2 points at least. Pob
Has Cameron Heeps got a team? He's done well round Armadale in the past. As yet no team has signed him up from what i have read on here. Will do him good to get away from Foxhall this season providing he gets picked up by another team and has for once an injury free season
