womble53
Not my team I know, but found this interesting little article today, which I thought might make an ideal starting place http://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/speedway/craig-cook-facing-dilemma-over-monarchs-future-1-3922415?utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=twitter&utm_source=twitter
tyretrax
To be honest Ii hope Cookie stays in the P.L. next season (maybe not at Edinburgh though ) he's a joy to watch.
Cj69
Still enjoying the team from this season, so will wait until the cold winter month come in (starting to feel like that very soon) before whip out the old calculator.
TheScotsman
As a minimum let's wait until our boys have finished for the season - Smiler, Sedgy, Erik & Cleggy still in action!!
Endeavour
Purely selfish here but I hope our Dark Destroyer stays. A big decision for Cookie. Needs the income from his PL matches but may need to give up PL to see how far he can go in the sport. Whatever. He decides the blue and gold are indebted to him. thanks Marra!
KIRKYLANE
Whatever happens , Edinburgh's top 5 averages mean a break up with one definitely, possibly 2 riders departing
junior fan
Looks like Robs going to be looking for a spot next year then. Junior

Rebel Warrior
I thought riders over a 7.00 in the elite couldn't ride premier anyway? I have read that elsewhere before.
jenga
I thought riders over a 7.00 in the elite couldn't ride premier anyway? I have read that elsewhere before. i think that's when they want to drop down to pl .cook being already in the pl from day 1 . i think this will be his last year when he can double up. el or pl. if belle vue go for fridays , then it el or another pl club . time for Edinburgh to pay the bill we know they have and stop putting the day of reckoning off . JanAndersen
He's not decided yet. I think he probably has but isn't saying. Probably time to move on for him and the club IMO. Keep Sam and Kevin and build the team round them. What average is used for creating teams for next season? Their closing one?
TheScotsman
It will depend on what he can arrange in the way of teams abroad. Can't live on the number of EL fixtures as per yesterday's newspaper article - http://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/speedway/craig-cook-facing-dilemma-over-monarchs-future-1-3922415 . Absolutely. People suggesting he should go full time Elite League for a challenge are missing the point slightly. It's not sustainable as you say. If Cookie rolls up to tapes in March don't get me wrong, i'll be delighted.
george.m
At his age this is a major decision. We all need cash to live.
