Eastbourne 2016

Can someone please explain to me why Danny Ayres was not allowed in heat 15, I see Jack Thomas and him got 7 points each, but does BP count? is that how it works as they said something to do with his average?

Why would that make a difference. Danny has to be in the top 3 of the averages of the Kent Team.

Had to look this up myself but the ruling was correct. Its either;

Top 3 scorers including bonus points (from 4 scheduled rides) unless a rider has already taken 7 rides then you can drop to the 4th highest scorer

Or

Top 3 from teams averages unless a rider has already taken 7 rides then you can drop to the 4th highest average.

So Jack Thomas' plus 2 kept Danny out in the scoring charts & he is 4th in the Kent Ave's so a a piece of rulebook wizardry but the Eastboure promotion that im sure even John Sampford would have been proud of.

From what i heard it was the ref that stopped the race and told Eastbourne and Kent as i dont think either team was aware of the rule. But i guess you could take it as a rule book wizardry by Eastbourne lol.

Unfair to a degree that Danny was taken out the race but i have to say i think he would have made a better start than Luke Bowen but i dont think he would have passed Jake but that again is if and Buts.

It was a great meeting from both sides and looking forward to out trip to kent and is only 45 mins from me.

Was it a female Ref? the little one with the wellies Barbara Winsor lol, i mean Barbara Horley or Christina (someone) who dug that out the rule book must be a lady thing.

Christina was the referee !

Rule is easy to understand....think Kent forgot Magic was their 3rd heatleader by average.

Bit of a mystery how Ayres averages is so low but guess he had not done enough league meetings.

That's the reason! He is still on his 2015 average but next month it goes to 9.29.

well well well, you bring a guy to the UK to race speedway and he pulls your pants down and makes the club look stupid, oh well you live and learn will be interesting to see how Brad gets on in the future, wish him all the best feel sorry for the Club but to be double crossed in speedway you get use to it.

Shame really as i thought that Brad was one of the good guys but looks like he is out to get what he can but he will always look back and see who was the club that took a chance and brought him to the UK. Brendon Johnson or BWD? was the call, Wished they stuck with BWD as least he would have stuck with the club.

Interesting comments, saying he gave nothing back to the club?! 2015 at Eastbourne speedway would have been nothing without Bradley. Maybe u shouldv stuck with BDJ then you would have an empty trophy cabinet? BWD is self employed, he will go where he wants and do what he wants the same as very other speedway rider and it's quite pathetic that you come on and rant about him calling him selfish and self centred. Not very professional from you Mr Dugard.

I beg your pardon.

i think you are mistaken and i would be more then happy to meet you at either lakeside or Eastbourne, i will show you that i am not Mr Dugard, Very dissapointed that Northen Monkey that you cast that across the forum.

happy to meet up with you face to face and just PM me i am waiting. if i turn out to be who i am and not who you said i am then you are proven wrong your have to £20 to the Riders Ben Fund.

I am happy to do that as i know who i am and wont cost me a penny.

I bet the Dugards are having a good old laugh at the rubbish on here about BWD, and whether Mrscambelt is a Mr Dugard! There is an insignificance about this compared to keeping a speedway club running in the current climate, and let's be honest and say BWD would have been our No 1 if the rules hadn't changed.Speedway and riders move on has happened before and will happen again. Whatever BWD 'cost' last year was more than repayed in excitement, incresed gates and trophies, we always knew we couldn't 'own' him so can't see he's doing anything wrong now, who's to say we haven't received indirect bonus's through the 'back door ' maybe not paying, or a reduced loan fee for Adam Ellis who I think is a Lakeside asset.

Nice to see Mr.WilsonDean involved with the BSF doesn't take a genius to decipher a username especially one with your home nation within it. How're things has the move all gone through now?? seems to have been a bit stale the last few days maybe because the world team cups on -w which I must add very impressed with Luke Becker from America

I never said you are Mr Dugard? I simply asked who you are. Seems as though you can't give us an answer as to who you are though, that's fine just continue to hide behind a screen name.

well done to the Enland team last night. Was not really expecting that result for the English boys but a well deserved one. Nice to see Adam involved on the TV.

Belle Vue proved to be a great race track I guess that's were the GPs will be in the future.
