Alex2000
We need an out and out number 1 now with the likes of Ollie greenwood at Buxton. But who because brad has to go pl now if he moves up?
Filth
I spoke to brad yesterday as he was at a local race meeting in Auckland and from what I understand, he has said he has got to go in to the premier on a 5 point average but it's making it hard for him to get a team place and he's had no offers so national league for another season could be a possibility. Sings4Speedway
Georgie is back! Team building has started! Pleased for Georgie, grumpy he hasn't signed for Kent. Good start though.
Alex2000
We couldn't have gone without him really! Great start hope we don't go off the rails
catinthehat
Brads did say he wants to go PL just they have put a big average on his neck, he is good enough to do it just means that someone has to step forward and pick the young lad up, I was surprised that brad has not yet been collected by anyone at the moment but its a waiting game for everyone. Good news on GW another good rider to build around,

Good news on GW another good rider to build around, Im not really surprised on a 5pt average. I font think he would hit it in all honesty only have to look at Ellis to see it would be tough. TurnTwo
Now we know Georgie is back who do we think the rest of the team will be on a 38 & 40 limit
Alex2000
Now we know Georgie is back who do we think the rest of the team will be on a 38 & 40 limit there are 12 clubs now in NL and not enough riders to go round so I would still work to a 36 limit

catinthehat
Team building is one thing but getting it right is another, I have looked at the teams around and if you throw a team together is will never work, you have to look and run the team as a little family, and if everyone is happy then your get 5 points or more from a happy team. Would have thought that Eastbourne would have come out and named another rider, maybe we could have another surprise.
Alex2000
I wouldn't rule Ethan out yet. Team spiller Facebook says team jackets for Daniel and Ethan in their gb season...
hawkeyenz
Bradley Wilson Dean is saying on Facebook that he is heading back to the UK early in the New Year. No indication of plans mentioned though. He is not taking part in the NZ Solo League that is being run again this year. The reason he gives is his equipment that he sent home is now arriving in January. I presume he intends to ride in the NZ Championship meeting on the 24th January? So assuming that's a pl club we need to start looking for a new number

Alex2000
Maybe we already have 1 in hopwood? Been talking about him for a few weeks and although I have said that, will he go out and beat the likes of Ollie greenwood? At home maybe but he's either brilliant or not so good away I like hopwood and want to see him back but he is his best at number

Alex2000
Who do you suggest at number 1? Ideally Brad other ideas were Morley- he has a pl ride at RH and possibly NL there too. I think we will do a last season and go without a out and out number 1 to start but we won't end up with one at the end like we did with Brad. Mr spiller might end up there though Edited November 22, 2015 by Alex2000
gee jay
in an uncertain sport in an uncertain world i'm as certain as i can be that geogie wood will be a heat leader long before the end of the season. why isn't there more news on the reserves as if they will all be 3 pointers it won't have any impact on team building whether it's 36, 38 or 40 will it ? i thought everyone would have done the same as the brummies.
