gazzac
Well we are not the best at the moment but we are stepping up the ladder every week we are getting stonger, When Brennan is ready that will be another winner for the Club, I have heard that he is going to Poole on Matt Fords books and then coming to Eastbourne? So he must have something if Matt is interested. If true maybe an agreement with Poole as I think NL teams aren't allowed assets, and perhaps in the future we could be a 'feeder' club like the IOW were a few year's ago . Just a shame we didn't seem to have riders like Tom and BWD coming through when we were in the Elite. I suppose the other side of the coin maybe we're more likely to get the use of riders like Adam Ellis now and others that Poole use in the future but need extra meetings. solrac
Poole riding at Swindon on Monday so will have to be guest for Adam Ellis. Should be a reasonable selection available looking at the fixtures. Plymouth aren't riding so Ellis Perks will be ok.
Alex2000
I'd go with one of the cradley top two if we can
gazzac
Bit of a shame as well, we won't have Adam on June 18th against Rye as he's qualified for the World U 21's, he'd have had 2 pretty good heat leaders to race against in Morley and Branford. gazzac
I'd go with one of the cradley top two if we can Maybe a problem as Wolves and Scunthorpe are both riding Monday, May have to look elsewhere . I think it'll be Dan Greenwood, he's guested for us before. Edited May 24, 2016 by gazzac
catinthehat
Reading with interest and wonder who to pick i guess it could be RR if nobody is avalible, wonder if Richard Hall is allowed for a meeting. wonder who we could use? Dan Bewley if perks is not there lol.
gazzac
Nobody's allowed 14 and 15 year olds as assets. Whoever Brennan rides for at 15 he will be a free agent, as he's over a year away from being able to sign a contract I did mean a ' gentleman's ' agreement I suppose ( if that's possible! ) not an actual contract, that could hopefully benefit both clubs and the rider. Reading with interest and wonder who to pick i guess it could be RR if nobody is avalible, wonder if Richard Hall is allowed for a meeting. wonder who we could use? Dan Bewley if perks is not there lol. Sure it'll be a guest, R/R would make a win pretty unlikely I would imagine. gazzac
He'll be riding for Wolves though, won't he? I think he will be so I still think our guest will be Dan Greenwood who although on the losing side has been fast at Kent and Cradley, and doesn't appear to be riding Monday. Thought heat 13 was probably the best I've seen since we dropped down to the NL. Standing near the start line definitely brought the atmosphere home with me, can still taste the blue and yellow smoke and tyre burn out this morning! mrscambelt
Went to the meeting at Rye House and it was nice to see the changes they are putting in to the stadium but i have to say the racing was poor for both meetings but there was no atmosphere and it was I have to say as a promotion pretty shameful event. I also think the Pl match we not much better, the racing was very much follow my leader and not exciting at all, Ed Kennett was a master in his first race. Jake Knight looked as if he would have got a few more points if it was not so slick and a blue line on the inside, Eastbourne was on the first part of the double header would have been better for both sides. Perks has started to find a bit of his old form at last so it will be nice to see him amongst the points and have to say Charlie Powell has turned the corner and a very impressive ride leading his last ride until he came to grief mainly because of the track conditions.Eastbourne’s looking to be a good side again loved the celebrations at Eastbourne on Saturday i would say thats the difference between Eastbourne and Rye is the team bonding and how well they all get on with each other and its nice to see that back in the camp again. were as its not like that at Rye House, i did catch Connor Dugard talking to Leek and pointing a few problems out during the meeting while watching a race they were standing in the grandstand and he was trying to help him with some advice, just shows things are bad when your helping the home team get around there own track. arnieg
Daniel Spiller named in German Under 21 World Cup team. Does this mean he has a German passport and is no longer eligible to ride in the National League?

He has a British and German passport but a bit strange as I can't see the Bspa letting him back in now
