Warsaw 2016

Recommended Posts

Anyone know when the track built starts in Warsaw? And are they doing a test meeting like Cardiff did last year

I'm led to believe that the track will go in this week with a full scale test, al la Cardiff 2015, a week tomorrow. And a different (bigger, wider) track than last year with the pits outside rather than inside the stadium. Material used for laying the track has been stored inside since last year's debacle and constantly measured for moisture content.

Sounds like Jarek is not healing too quick sadly. Could be his GP season is wrecked before he starts. Kildemand just missed out top 8 last year by 3 points having missed 3 meetings. Can Hampel possibly qualify even by missing 2 meetings. Its looking doubtful.

We tried re-buying yesterday with the original tickets and serial numbers. No luck. There are enquiries made to both viagogo and kupbilet. But if not, then not...

We'll do just that!

So again I ask the question, what time is this on TV over here, as they never put the british start time anywhere...

Obviously Chris Harris takes the view it is important to fulfil his commitment in the UK and miss so many GP practices - as he seems to have done, yet again, this time in Warsaw.

If he missed a GP practice and the next day puts in a fantastic performance in a the GP, at least getting to the semis regularly, and win an odd GP - then great. But he doesnt. He misses practice then next day gets 2 - 5 points in the GP. To me, that is a lack of committment to the GP and his self proclaimed ambition to be world champ. He can forget that, and realistically, he may as well drop out from the GP's as from now, in fact he should have done that a few years ago, and let one of the younger upshots have a chance - someone who will put in full committment.
