Warsaw 2016

Recommended Posts

Obviously Chris Harris takes the view it is important to fulfil his commitment in the UK and miss so many GP practices - as he seems to have done, yet again, this time in Warsaw.

If he missed a GP practice and the next day puts in a fantastic performance in a the GP, at least getting to the semis regularly, and win an odd GP - then great. But he doesnt. He misses practice then next day gets 2 - 5 points in the GP. To me, that is a lack of committment to the GP and his self proclaimed ambition to be world champ. He can forget that, and realistically, he may as well drop out from the GP's as from now, in fact he should have done that a few years ago, and let one of the younger upshots have a chance - someone who will put in full committment.

Bomber does things his way, if he keeps qualifying nobody can deny that he's getting some things right and is good enough. It's fantastic that he honours his domestic meetings and will be remembered with great affection by the british supporters when he retires, unlike some riders. Edited by Trees

Would have been easier for you to type the time...

You're right it would but then that would only encourage you to continue being a lazy git, wouldn't it.

tbh it was your pompous attitude that bugged me, "so I ask again", what's that about.

Anyway, just this once and only for you, it starts at 19.30 uk time :t:

TBH Chris Harris turns up to practice and struggles anyway and we're often told how the practice and meeting track s are very different.

Bomber has many faults, but he is ambitious while still also remaining loyal to his country. Good for him!

Can't agree with you there Joe, as pointed out tracks almost always differ from practice to meeting, riders constantly refer to it in interviews. If there was anyone British and better than Harris waiting to take the gp berth then fair enough but there isn't anyone just yet. Andy Smith or Stoney were never likely to win it but they were in it on merit as far as I recall.

I'd say fair play to Chris Harris for showing commitment to the UK and in true Kevin Keegan style I would love it, just love it if he got on the rostrum both nights.

Its nice that Harris is well liked by British fans due partially to the way he supports Friday UK racing instead of practice for a GP

However, 15 others, plus 2 reserves, seem to turn up for practice, and they also must know track conditions change from practice to race day.....yet they still turn up, all through the 12 (or 11 as this year) GP's.

I not a massive Tai fan, but admire his commitment to being world champ, that's what you need to be at the top in any professional sport - commitment in every aspect to be the best.

CH says he wants to be world champ, wonderful, but then lacks commitment by not giving everything needed, and that includes mental attitude as well as physical commitment.

I AGREE with you that Harris really shouldnt take guest bookings etc that stop him attending GP practice, but how is he supposed to be in 2 places at once!!! Its not his fault that the british semi final was on the same day as practice or am i missing something!!!

He was taking part in the British semi finals, so that he can try and become British champion..FFS!! The track will be totally different today anyway, it always is!
