Ben91
Hang on a minute. Cradleys depleted team. Well we have lost David Mason to a broken leg and Danny Warwick to neck vertebrae damage. The difference ? The Eastbourne management got their fingers out and were quick to get replacements, Ben Hopwood, Matt Bates, Gary Cottham and Daniel Spiller. So don't lets here that depleted team excuse when the Eagles prove they are by far the best TEAM in the league. I say TEAM because we have had a good team of 7 for every match. Birmingham are a 3 man team, Ellis, Perry and Watchneck. But they picked up their league points early while Watchneck was at reserve and getting 7 rides a meeting. Cradley are a 2 man team, Cleggy and Williamson, but lets hope they keep going for next year. The EAGLES WILL win both legs of the cup final. We already have the National Trophy (Big Deal), the Gold Cup which as we all know is the National League play off. So a massive well done to Martin Dugard, Connor Dugard, Glenn Martin, the riders and their mechanics (incl some dads). Points scored at the start of the season are just as important as those scored at the end in the league when there are no play offs. Think it's doing Birmingham a disservice to say they only won the league because of the time Zach spent at reserve, especially when the Eagles have had Spiller at reserve for a spell too. catinthehat
Smith and Tyler as reserve, not bad but have to say Tyler stats are not that good with an 80% of a fall or a breakdown, but there you go, Dugard is more stable but Andrews has just hit form again after his Thumb problem, hope its going to be a good night for the Eagles. catinthehat
Seen that the Eastbourne boys were out having a spin and trying new engines for the trip to Perry Barr. It's going to be a good one money is on Eastbourne. 4 point win on the night
solrac
We've got a guest for our team manager Looking at line ups think Cradley will take lead down to Arlington due to absence of Wood and Spiller, just depends how big lead will be. Weather looks ok for tomorrow, Saturday not so sure.
catinthehat
RR for Glen as he has just danced his way into the night at the awards everning, I think it will be close but we will be fine as we are good at home, Wood had a great night last time while BWD was a bit down on speed due to his injury at Rye House a few days before. So swap them 2 around and with Spiller only getting a few points will be covered by RR so i have to say its looking to be good night weather permitting. Hunty
With the weather the way it is I don't think it's got much chance! Hopefully it stops raining and then some decent track work could get it on! Dreading it, don't care about the result just want a little information and less secrecy! Ommer Mon
Quite fancy Heathens by 12 tonight but think we could be a bit weak at reserve. Cleggy and Matt have been flying lately and should have some good tussels with BWD. Danny Ayres is great to watch and will give it 100%. i'm sure the crowd will get behind him and he will respond. Think we're in for a thumping at Arlington though. 'Ommer 'em Cradley!

GASBLOKE
Why do we have to have Laurence Rogers as our manager, it's not the toughest job in the world, you just need to know the rules inside out and know your own riders, Connor Dugard would have been a much better option. And Martin Knuckey as a guest, looks like he's ridden here twice this year, 2 points and 11 points. I don't think the club studied the statistics much before they picked him, although he rode with promise at Arlington. Its on the radio, listen to those Eagles wrap up some more silverware. GASBLOKE
Great if he gets near to the 11, but I reckon he'll be nearer the 2. Really going to miss Georgie Wood. Who can do the R/R ? There is a link for the radio on Speedway Updates, commentary not bad. Edited October 21, 2015 by GASBLOKE
