dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Rumour is PK costs about £100 a lap regardless whether he scores or not. Fancy a bit of that?
neb
pk's wage demands would probably sink most premier league clubs maybe his younger brother would be a better option and on his day can clean up around scunny but again its down to cost and it would seem the karlsson's have priced themselves out of British speedway. thebaron
Give you another who could do a similar job and was in at Lakeside and then released. Bjarne Pedersen.
Reviresco
Give you another who could do a similar job and was in at Lakeside and then released. Bjarne Pedersen. Bjarne Pedersen's EL average over 6.00 and therefore ineligible to ride in the PL?
Paul Johnson
Would the likes of karlsson, pedersen etc be doing polands on sundays?.... if Pk said he fancies giving the PL a shot then he has to ask PL wages ?
Albert
Forget about the likes of Pedersen or Karlsson... Yes it would be nice to have a big hitter, a big name.. But, If we want to keep speedway alive in Scunny, surely we need to avoid riders that would bleed us dry.
IronScorpion
There is, also, the fact rules must be adhered to. I have been reading the forum thread of Edin v Berwick. On there it has been said missing Cook/Sedgmen & the replacements not doing their job, but give them time. Others have said need to make a change & this was the point raised. You cannot change an assessed rider so r/r or guests, when applicable, are the only options. Just gone back to previous thread where rule is posted #
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
I think the reg is that you cant drop an assessed rider. Potentially different if the rider is injured long term.

I thought Peter Karlsson would make a good signing when Holub got his new average, he hasn't currently got a Polish team. I am not sure Scunny can afford him but if we aren't winning at home crowds might drift away.
RS50
Hints of team changes for May given on Sunday. Would the following team meet all regulations. 1 Auty 2 Davies 3 Compton 4 Proctor 5 Douglas 6 Wilkinson 7 Bailey

New era Panthers
Hints of team changes for May given on Sunday. Would the following team meet all regulations. 1 Auty 2 Davies 3 Compton 4 Proctor 5 Douglas 6 Wilkinson 7 Bailey On present averages this team would work out at 42.56 but when next averages issued they could be reduced sufficiently to be under the 42.50 ceiling. I would expect Auty, Davies, and Wilkinson's average drop would cover this. It would certainly strengthen and make it an attractive side again and hopefully bring back some of the missing fans. Good luck with it anyway.

New era Panthers
Surely Benji Compton would be a 3.00 at reserve!! I think you will find RS50 was referring to Andre Compton who has an average of 6,

thebaron
Hints of team changes for May given on Sunday. Would the following team meet all regulations. 1 Auty 2 Davies 3 Compton 4 Proctor 5 Douglas 6 Wilkinson 7 Bailey As I have said; I do not like changing; but speedway can force your hand; and sooner than anticipated. I would hate that conversation with the rider (all of whom put themselves on the line each race). It would be harsh on Zeddy due to injury and Andreas who is not even here yet !. On paper that looks a more robust line up; largely because Procter and Compo are seasoned performers on the British scene. It does what it says on the tin; Procter can be a bit hit and miss; when is he back over here ?; but Compo probably just the sort of experienced rider that can nit the team together and lead from the front. romans lovechild
that team has a good look about it, but i would take proctor to finish top of the averages from that list, wilko needs to get his a$$ in gear soon.
