Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?

Recommended Posts

Just thinking rationally here and given the various if buts and maybe some names through up (including some I have thrown in) Rasmus Jensen on 5.92 looks appealing. Came back in end of season at Rebels and posted some decent scores. Could be one who could add a 1.5pts to that average. Mmmmmmm.

Sorry not to see Taylor coming back, but if his heart is not in it then he has made the right decision all round not to make the trip over.

As for any replacements its difficult to see where they are coming from and maybe Scunny may need to replace Taylor and another rider as well.

Really surprised & disappointing news, only few days back TP was tweeting on lines "xmas over & training starts!" Has certainly seemed up for Scunny 2016 so don't no why the apparent sudden change of mind? We'll possibly never know whats gone on? Still, Rob says Scunny will be stronger out of this and its an awkward average but l'm sure he has an Ace up his sleeve?

Robin Aspregen

Always rated Aspregen and on a suprisingly low average. Rides the EWR well; but more I look at it more Rasmus Jensen looks good value on 5.92 and can add to that. He's a second string that could breakout into a heat leader. Rebels credited him with lifting them end of season and was an excellent addition to their team for the run in.

Tyson Nelson has already qualified for his visa

Err not sure about that.

He could be signed by someone, and then he could apply for one.

But given his past history he isn't guaranteed to get one. Rye House signed him last year but he didn't ride in Britain despite a rostrum finish in the Queensland State Championship.
