Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?

Recommended Posts

Thing is if a speedway fan doesn't know a rule that been in place for some time what hope is there for new fans understanding any of the rules!?

No kidding ?.. there you go; you learn something every day in this game. By the way; but were probably talking half a point difference on the CMA's if that. So that stops us organising our heat leaders to maximise effect !..never happened in the good old "daze" I'll give you that.

A bit like Harry Kane in your 1-11 and having to stick him in nets !. More anti-speedway for you.

Then that's that we're stuck with it; but welcome Lewis and still looking forward to Scunday.

By the way don't worry too much about the post I'm fine honest; folks need to start worrying if I stop caring enough to post anything. Then speedways really in bother.

Cheers and all the best.

Premier League clubs are now inviting fans to be team manager for a meeting !. Fans of the club can be reassured that I have declined the clubs offer to stand in for Dave Peet at Workington on Saturday. I clearly need to get to grips with this blooming ridiculous rule book !.

What has happened to the KOC 2nd leg against Newcastle, thought this was supposed to be on 5 June.

WE were denied use of our stadium again on the 5th June, whilst electrical upgrades took place to some areas of the stadium. No doubt with it being a Cup meeting it will be given priority over an already future planned meeting.

New fans generally just take it as four bikes on a track, its once they start to understand that the problems start.

Can somebody explain to me why Scunthorpe were allowed to let lyager go when he hadn't done his 4h and 4a meetings (I don't think) is it because he rode last year so he's technically not a new rider? Thanks :)

The team itself are not allowed to drop an assessed rider until they have completed 4H and 4A meetings, but the rider has the choice to quit the team.

In this unfortunate circumstance Andreas chose to step down due to his apprenticeship. I don't think scunny would have chosen to drop him, think he has massive potential.

Scunny let him go because he has given up speedway for a year to concentrate on his studies at home.

Thanks for the information :t: Hope he comes back next year and does himself a good job at Scunthorpe

The only way he could come out of the team now on his ave was to take himself out.... Must have been a complete shock for the lad to suddenly recieve a letter from his employers without any prior inclination about time off etc... :)

18 mate...His employer has made him finish off his aprenticeship and wont give him all the days off he needs to ride here, his education comes first and if he cant ride anymore at least he has his trade to fall back on.....

He's only been told he's taking too much time off and must stop riding in the UK. He is still riding in Denmark. He rode on Wednesday in the DSL.

I'd say he is worth bringing back next year. A couple of weeks ago he beat Ricky Wells four times as well as Andrey Karpov and Chris Harris in a DSL match.

Scunthorpe are due back on 26th June in the PL, so I would guess that will now become the KOC 2nd Leg instead, with the PL fixture rearranged for later in the season.

Time for another change?

One or two obvious underperformers in the ranks.. by my reckoning we could replace Davies and have 8.86 to find a reasonable number 1. Alternatively, replace Wilko and have 7.33 to play with. But who's out there, who's available? .... are we stuck with what we've got?
