dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
I know they used to call them 'vulture races' where the reserves raced off before meetings but picking over the bones of Plymouth so quickly is a bit in poor taste IMO.
Halifaxtiger
Was thinking the same would be great if we could bring in either kyle newman or todd Kurtz or Jack Holder. He would just love EWR.

Try telling that to the now unemployed riders with no income
Alan_Jones
I know they used to call them 'vulture races' where the reserves raced off before meetings but picking over the bones of Plymouth so quickly is a bit in poor taste IMO. I'm sure the riders would like to find employment as soon as possible, the promoters have cut their own throats and, unless they're seriously loaded, it's too late for the supporters to do much about it so, brutal as it may sound, the rest of the speedway world has to stagger on. Islander15
I agree that Holder, Kurtz and Newman would all make the team stronger but Rob is loyal and a man of his word so I can't see him going for someone else after promising Lyager a place.
thebaron
or Jack Holder. He would just love EWR. Agree Holder, Newman or Kurtz would be great calls but you might just be under estimating Andreas Lyager hes our rider and a great prospect and for me his inclusion will not weaken us. Pinny
Youd of thought theyd have one with Davies and Douglas in the side? Also leave it out, regarding picking at plymouths team so soon! The same happens when any team goes bang, surely youd rather riders get fixed up sooner rather than later?
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
As it stands Plymouths fixtures are still in place and avenues still being explored and whilst the situation may well prove hopeless I still think picking over the riders within minutes of the announcement is rather crass.

Number23
Well done to Josh Bailey last night qualifying in Kent for the U21 British final. Also fastest time of the night I think. Enjoy the final Josh.

Callum Johnstone
Think it will be andreas lyager but hope I'm wrong as I feel we need a proven premier league points scorer, last couple of meetings have shown this

Little Nicki
New signing revealed here: http://scunthorpescorpions.co/?p=5135 Good Lad is Ashley and glad to see him signed up and back. From not looking to have a ride in 2016, he is now named as Wolverhampton's Reserve Tier 2 (No. 9?), a Scorpion and at Cradley. Pleased things have turned round for him. Not sure whether Holub has 1 or 2 more meetings before he gets a Match Average (guess it's another 2 as his ride in Heat 3 at the EoES wouldn't count), but pleased the management have acted now with further changes to follow when Holub is off his Assessed 7.00. How different it may have been if Taylor Poole hadn't retired.
