Joseq7
Apologies if this has been already answered but I've had a wee trawl and can't see it.......................... Is there any further clarification around the specific logistics of the complusory 3.00 NL Brit at No.7 ?Is it a draft? Is it a free for all?Does the No.7 stay at No.7 all season irrespective of their average? george.m
Been reading all the posts on here and from teams building. wanting the likes of Kenneth Bjerre, Peter Karllson,Scotty Nicholls and now Freddie Lindgren joining the premier league why not just have one big league? people must think their clubs could afford them otherwise they wouldnt suggest them. One league when tried before wasn't the best entertainment. Too many races with one guy way out in front.
Countershaftcounter
This is a strange one he was meant to guest in the pl this year and was told his average would be either a 5 or a 7 can't remember the whole story although the he is classed as a Brit which you have to be to ride NL he was born in NZ but has British parents and he has ridden in his national championship also seem him say on FB if he is classed as a 7 he won't be back to uk next year as only riding NL is no good for him BWD will be back even if it just NL. if his dad is to be believed Dugard supplied everything fro kevlars to vans to bikes. He's be silly not to.

Islander15
I thought it is No Yes No I also think its no, yes, no. But when the riders average dictates that he's a reserve, he has to be at number 7 and not number 6.
Alan_Jones
I thought it is No Yes No That's the one. Also, if the original rider is dropped, he can only be replaced by another NL eligible rider.
The White Knight
Once again we seem to be presented with more and more confusing Rules. Reading this Thread anyway......................................
Fromafar
For all the trouble the fans perceive the sport is in ,and a lot of Promters grumbling they can't go on,they have not come up any great solution to the problems IMO Edited October 27, 2015 by Fromafar
soupy
So what happens if the 3 pointer gets injured in the first ride& ruled out of the rest of the meeting?
baba
Track number 8 takes the rides?
mac101
So what happens if the 3 pointer gets injured in the first ride& ruled out of the rest of the meeting? every club should have there own local #8 that maybe could travel with the club even if it's just for experience of being in the team with the prospect of bringing him into the team as some point in the future that way they gain experience in what it takes to be a pl speedway rider and if there is a second half at the away track they can get a run out just to get track time on different away tracks
Alan_Jones
So what happens if the 3 pointer gets injured in the first ride& ruled out of the rest of the meeting? Replaced by the other reserve in his last two rides but not in the 'protected' heat 4 I would guess.

I couldn't agree more - the trouble is Speedway is becoming more and more complicated Season by Season. Season by Season - less people are attending. ................. and they are wondering why?

And if they don't change rules they get the same complaint of being complacent, and fans pointing out what upgrades they should have done. Other than the likes of you, most people go to speedway to see 4 blokes racing around a track. Edited October 27, 2015 by Tsunami

Arson fire
So is it...if you qualify for the NL you can ride in the PL on a 3 point average?? How do the older heads in the NL qualify to ride in it??
The White Knight
And if they don't change rules they get the same complaint of being complacent, and fans pointing out what upgrades they should have done. Other than the likes of you, most people go to speedway to see 4 blokes racing around a track. It's thinking like that that does the Sport no good. You alienate your current Support and hardly encourage new. I am not resistant to sensible change, however, change for change's sake is not the way to go - and yet they do it every Season.
