Willowman
... Rider replacement would be my first signing of 2016! May even have more guest bookings than Brady though!
junior fan
Not really sure this is going to achieve a lot re the 3 point nl rider. , I think if this was the way they wanted to go then the number 6 should have also had to be british, there's no reason that clubs won't go down the road of having 3 point foreigners and building there teams the way the successful Edinburgh team was built this season. That could leave british riders with real averages between 3 and 5 on the dole que. Junior

Junior Is it not any NL rider that has not had a ave over 3 in the pl that able to take number 7 spot there us a helava lot if decent riders in the NL it's just about getting the right one if you think max Clegg and James Sargent came in this year as 3 pointers look at them now
Rebel Warrior
What is the average cut off for the national league? where they are no longer allowed to ride national? Also what is the green sheet average conversion rate from national to premier?
mac101
By the sound of it any rider that has never ridden in the pl or ever had over 3 ave if they did A few good riders to pick from http://speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/nl15_issue_24.pdf
Islander15
What is the average cut off for the national league? where they are no longer allowed to ride national? Also what is the green sheet average conversion rate from national to premier? Riders with a PL average under 4.00 can ride NL as well. Also there is no conversion rate as all riders moving up from NL to PL either take their previous NL average (like Ellis), or if they don't have one they start on a 3.00+

Najjer
Lets be honest too, a PL team manager's job was pretty easy and very limited at the best of times - now he can't swap his reserves in heat 4 it is even more limited. Islander15
Am I right in thinking that a National League rider over 10.00 average no longer qualifies for national league? No, if an NL rider has an NL average then he can do NL regardless of how high his figure is. A a couple of years ago Kent signed Boxall on a starting average of around 10.46. This is a strange one he was meant to guest in the pl this year and was told his average would be either a 5 or a 7 can't remember the whole story although the he is classed as a Brit which you have to be to ride NL he was born in NZ but has British parents and he has ridden in his national championship also seem him say on FB if he is classed as a 7 he won't be back to uk next year as only riding NL is no good for him

He's not a Brit though, so he shouldn't be part of the draft, shouldn't have been in the NL this year either that being the case but that's another can of worms all together.
ruckerroo
As long as it keeps the majority of fetid under performing foreign rammel out its got to be a forward step. Wilson deans done a full year of commuted nat league speedway as has wacjnezcht , tho they are foreign they should meet the criteria really. They are no better or worse than Branford clegg etc Commited ffs

Stop all the 'Doubling ups' as you put it - and there will be no Elite League Speedway next Season.
Paul Johnson
Been reading all the posts on here and from teams building. wanting the likes of Kenneth Bjerre, Peter Karllson,Scotty Nicholls and now Freddie Lindgren joining the premier league why not just have one big league? people must think their clubs could afford them otherwise they wouldnt suggest them.
