solrac
Good news that Belle Vue seem to be, according to their website, running a National League side next season.
Rebel1
Interesting, in my opinion all Elite teams should do the same in order to give supporters a full season of racing. It would also give more British lads an opportunity of getting a foot on the speedway ladder.
Islander15
Could be a lot of teams next year.
Alex2000
National league beginning to get some elite/ old elite names in it! Belle Vue Eastbourne Birmingham Coventry (maybe) Kent (could be elite also) Kings Lynn Dare I say Poole should do a NL team but then they would win it all because they would somehow work Newman into the team

solrac
There were some murmerings of a return for Weymouth, but not sure how much truth in that?

stevec
Would love to see Belle Vue in the NL Please not Poole, I like Eastbourne being the Poole of the National League!
Sings4Speedway
Very good news to have it confirmed. Had my suspicions since they retained the services of David Holt mid season rather than allow his transfer to Buxton. Should be a superb venue and racing surface. Any hints on what the NL race days/nights might be?

pete cc
Nah he probably needs a few in the MDL Thats the problem with lots of teams in the NL, some teams have to use wobblers
stevec
Poole could probably get Jason Crump in on some sort of assessed average. Dam it. Poole have hijacked the Belle Vue thread and its party my fault!!! So back to Belle Vue, I wonder if they could get Jason Crump in on some sort of assessed average? Every league match should be followed by a junior meeting. Gives the fans more racing in the evening and brigs on young talent.

I remember Simon Wigg saying that every week should see a junior meeting BEFORE the main match... His reasoning was when you go out to eat you have your main course after your starter, not the other way round and that the cinema puts the trailers on first so you build up to the main event.. He also felt that it would help them riding in front of bigger crowds and riding on a surface with dirt still on it.. He also advocated team race suits when very few others did... He seemed to have some good ideas... Edited October 15, 2015 by mikebv

He seemed to have some good ideas... They did this at Eastbourne this year once when heavy traffic delayed the start. I thought it worked well as a kind of warm up to the main event but EL riders would probably moan about the track. National league riders seem to moan less about such things
