uk_martin
Well first details of AGM to be released at 1pm, no doubt the sport is in its best shape ever and nothing much had to be changed ! Damn, and I thought I was a cynic!
Odds On
biggest change will see the black and white tactical helmet cover change, it will now be a blue colour with a skull and cross bones on it.

Woz01
Draft riders having their PL average converted will help Poole immensely even more so if they get Ellis. Edited October 19, 2015 by woz01
SCB
Just announced 2016 EL Champions will be Poole They have more or less. Well Done to Poole on Newman once again being rated lower because they have used PL averages and not EL. What a bunch of mupets. It's like they want Poole to keep winning titles. What a bunch of mupets. It's like they want Poole to keep winning titles. It was certainly an interesting statement. "Draft system retained – all Tier 1 riders start on converted PL average and start at reserve but gain EL average after four meetings with ability to move into main body." No mention of T2 reserves, which is interesting. At least there's now some opportunities for NL riders - it's been a huge step for a while. Bradford Ace
Why do these imbeciles insist on releasing only part of the info now which just confuses matters even more?? Just release it all when its all ready to come out as now we have a load of unanswered questions!!!!!!!! Without even thinking about it too much:- How is the PL average converted to the EL one?? Presume 60%?? How do they calculate the tier 2 FTR averages as they say 40.5 points is for 7 riders?? What is the heat leader standard official average they talk of re grading list?? is it 6.50 or is that just for Foreign assessed riders? So now nobody will know all this til 3rd November!!!!!!!! Ridiculous
SCB
I bet Watt and North are not ranked as heat leaders either. So Poole can have one or the other as a second string. Oh and a 40.5 point limit is far too high if reserves will be on converted PL averages and not just their EL averages. krompa
Was hoping for some positive changes like semi-squad system (with shared heat leaders role to bring some top boys back) but it will be bigger mess with FTR now moving to main body and main body riders dropping to reserve positions. Oh and a 41 point limit is far too high if reserves will be on converted PL averages and not just their EL averages. I think FTR riders gaining an average after 4 matches is too soon, too. It's far too small of a number for someone to gain a true average.

Where as I think one thing they have got right is that FTR (or whatever they're not called) can move up. It allows them to be stretched a little. blueherb777
Reading the comments from supporters in the SS over the last few weeks, these are the most popular views; 1) Elite League on a particular day/days 2) A squad system to lessen need for Guests/R/R. 3) Get rid of DOUBLE POINTS c**p and bring back T/S so the Manager does something not just fill in programme. 4) Make sure tracks are prepared properly which in turn will mean good racing and safer. 5) Keep meetings going faster and stop all the delays like riders going back to the pits etc. 6) Promoters to do some promoting to try to get more fans in. Listen to supporters views more and the sport may make progress.
mikebv
No guests for riders four and five.. A start anyway... However why not tweak the rr rules and use rr for any missing one to five? If No1 is out then any of the team can take his rides (to a max of two extra each)... If No2 is out. No1 takes one ride and then any of the rest of the team can takes his others (again a max of two extra rides for any rider) If No3 is out. Then No2 can take one ride and the rest of the team (4-7) can take the others (again to a max of two extra rides each) If No4 is out the No3 takes one ride and '5-7' takes his others (up to two extra each) If No5 is out then No4, No6 and No7 can divide his rides between them to a max of two extra rides each Riders have ridden seven times in a match before so nothing new there... More income for the riders who may get seven rides, more flexibility for using tactics from the team manager and surely more credibility for the sport rather than 'guests'?? Gaps between races may take longer (but would we notice much difference from what already happens?)😃 Edited October 19, 2015 by mikebv
AndyK86
I would like to see a Meeting time limit rule ...A meeting should take no longer than 1 Hour 30 Minutes, Financial penalties will be issued to the hosting club unless they can provide evidence why the meeting ran over which would only be Accidents which require Air Fence to be fixed and rider treatment/ Hospital trip.Hopefully this sort of rule would encourage everyone to crack on with meetings.

Having said that doing an interval after a delay is not needed and meetings should start as advertised!

It is but he should also be encouraged to get on with it also, requires everyone to work together for the benefit of speedway and the paying public. Also pit gate remains closed unless a crash happens, if it is a unsatifastory start get back to tapes and crack on.
