Alex2000
Shame we didn't come away 10 up but 4 will do. Don't think this will be that easy. I've heard Ayres is booked again for Saturday is that right? I also expect JPB to be there. Hope spiller and Brad have better nights
kitten2502
I think 4 points will be enough for you too - although I'd love to be wrong. Gutted I can't make the trip, but previous engagements prevent - I'll be glued to updates with fingers crossed. Was very surprised at Daniel Spillers lack of points last night - is that the result of moving into main body of the team?

Spiller scored a paid max I believe the other week in main body so no it's just an off night!
Filth
Everyone has off nights occasionally, BWD had his first real off night of the season, considering he's been by far the most consistent rider in the team if not one of the most consistent in the league judging by his average.. Spiller I suspect was exhausted from the flight and he sometimes struggles to ride out in the dirt, German tracks are very slick I believe. catinthehat
Spiller was sick with a tooth problem, BWD was walking around with a knee problem and a cold. Just think how good we would have been if everyone was all well. Think Saturday night is going to e a good one.

Was very surprised at Daniel Spillers lack of points last night - is that the result of moving into main body of the team he's been doing well in the main body even after a really bad crash at buxton , i think the bad news for birmingham is that both he and bwd just had 'a bad day at the office' and i doubt very much that either will have 2 on the trot. cityrebel
A decent meeting tonight with some good racing. Well done to the eagles for winning the trophy, and to the brummies for keeping it competitive right to the last race.

Brummies_Ste
Congratulations to Eastbourne best team over the 2 legs Btw Interesting tweet from Gary Patchett Patch @garypatchett 11 hrs11 hours ago Congrats to Eastbourne. That'll shut up the noisy neighbours for a bit!! Alex2000
Wood goes from one extreme to another top score Wednesday then a really unlucky night last night. Richard Andrews is brilliant at the moment but so he should be at reserve. Was I right in thinking Ellis's engine exploded in heat 1? Countershaftcounter
Apparently it went bang big time, last meeting of the season too. If he was a foreigner they'd be appeals for help all over the place already
ruckerroo
Lovely atmosphere in a really good crowd. Eastbourne solid, Wilson dean far from 100% and poor George had a nightmare. Ten days off will do them the world of good. Ellis is a world apart and the clock would have gone in ht 1 for sure On to a much harder 2 legged final v cradley

That'll shut up the noisy neighbours for a bit!! What a bitter thing to say from a bitter man. Well we will continue being noisy I can assure you. Congrats on winning the consolation cup Eastbourne Defo the best team over two legs and four matches. Noisy Birmingham are happy being the best team over 18 matches. Its now going to be an interesting team building close season. I predict that the same three teams will be slugging it out next year for the top spot. Heres fingers crossed for a Cradley return so we can be noisy neighbours once again. I wish I could be a fly on the wall at the NL AGM. I predict Eastbourne turning up at the AGM asking for the play off system to return and all the other clubs (If they have any sense) saying not on your nelly. That'll shut up the noisy neighbours for a bit!! Well I have news for you Mr Patchett The Perry Barr Greyhound Management Shut you up did not they Brummies _ste there proving the best form of defence is attack . i wonder what the cradley fans think, is it just coincidence that after all the success the heathens have had since their return and the first year they come up trophy less all their figureheads suddenly need to be somewhere else ? Apparently it went bang big time, last meeting of the season too. If he was a foreigner they'd be appeals for help all over the place already i don't quite get your point csc. he wasn't injured after a crash, then it's all our responsibility as fans to see he's looked after but it's down to brummies fans alone if he just needs new equipment surely. mind you i would have given him a quid last night if he had let bwd win one race. Wood goes from one extreme to another top score Wednesday then a really unlucky night last night. Richard Andrews is brilliant at the moment but so he should be at reserve. Was I right in thinking Ellis's engine exploded in heat 1? either georgie is carrying a leg injury or he tethered his horse behind the pits somewhere. Lovely atmosphere in a really good crowd. Eastbourne solid, Wilson dean far from 100% and poor George had a nightmare. Ten days off will do them the world of good. Ellis is a world apart and the clock would have gone in ht 1 for sure On to a much harder 2 legged final v cradley why is cradley going to be much harder? i thought going into the 3 finals that last nights would be the hardest. motherread
I was shocked and saddened last night to witness the disgusting reactions each time a Brummies rider fell off. I was standing on the 1st/2nd bend and couldn't believe the cheers and clapping that met every fallen rider. This was before we even knew if they were ok!! Eastbourne, some if your "fans" are a disgrace!!

Eastbourne, some if your "fans" are a disgrace!! Its the same everywhere you go. I have felt sick and even been involved in arguments when fans at away matches cheer when Eastie riders fall. Last night I was pretty disgusted (as an Eastbourne fan) myself when the cheers went up for falling riders. I hate it. I have to say it does not usually happen as bad as that and I think they were just hooked up in the occasion. I must add as well that there was hardly a cheer for Kirbys awkward looking turn 2 tumble. None of us wanna see riders hurt

Eastbourne, some if your "fans" are a disgrace!! Have to say its the same where ever you go and i guess because your winning or loosing a match you will always get some fans going to cheer, few weeks ago we had it at Rye House, its not normal for Eastbourne fans to cheer as they are normally that old they cant take in a deep breath to have a cheer. ( Thats a little joke to all of you that cant see it). Well done to all involed and it was nice to see Glen Martin up on the rostrum talking to all the fans. Any one got an update on Georgie as i was the one who gave him the bad luck, i see that his Engine gone bang but thats all i know.
