Fromafar
According to a post on Liveupdates the ref was Michael Brecon (Darlington)apologies if that is the case.
edmon
Hopefully he nor the Grand Monarch are in the box this weekend. W Dishington will not be ref in either meeting. His is out of the country until Saturday and was at Armadale last Friday. Â Should not think J McGregor will be ref at Ashfield as he has been there in recent weeks. Believe that referees can only be at a track once every four weeks. Â So looks like he may be at Armadale

me2
That was epic. Had to go for a lie down when I got home. I wasn't sure Glasgow could pull it of, but they did what Somerset did to us last week, kept it close, held their nerve and edged it. How good was Summers? Not just his scoring, I could see him running about the pits between races, he never stopped. He's on a mission this year. A real captain, but everyone chipped in. Hard on Somerset to get so close, but that's the way it goes sometimes. They gave it their best shot. I've a feeling there will be more twists and turns before this is decided. Roll on the weekend.

me2
It must be the biggest Speedway weekend ever for both sets of fans. Who'd have thought it, the two biggest teams in Scotland contesting the final. Wait a minute...........
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
What if they stuck with lanham bruv?they may well have won lewy .But no one knows - my point was just that Somerset are always pro active.
damosuzuki
A couple of gates from Sarjeant required, who cares if he gets any waarnings. Â Â And provided. All the moaning about Sarjeant should be water off a ducks back. He proved everything yesterday by not letting it get to him. Â And if the refs are paying special attention to him they should be instructed that their role is to enforce the rules against every rider in the heat. No-one is going to moan if anyone is lawfully excluded.
Willowman
...Rebel fans you can't win em all, just accept you contend every year . WHAT? If you add up the number of times the Rebels have just missed out on winning by one or two points in all sorts of competitions you will realise how frustrating it can be for us fans. Â Great performance by the lads to take it to the last heat and just miss out again! I wish the Tigers well in the final but how I would chuckle if you miss out by a point. Willowman
To the dark side! You sure about that?Mmm? That's a tough one!As long as someone else feels the pain we have felt with very near misses over the past few years I don't mind who. What's the expression? "Always the bridesmaid, never the bride"? Sums up Somerset, 2013 excepted. As you have felt the pain of missing out in the KO cup to.... oh yes, us and you did come top of the league, I suppose it should be your friends from the West. Hope the all Scottish final lives up to the billing.

Only doing my bit for the environment by recycling! Well if form is anything to go by we should be there or thereabouts. I'll be there in any case as I have been for the last 15 years, keeping the faith.
