Brooksy
Lanham would most likely have scored more than 5 from 5 at reserve in either leg.... You make your bed and you have to lay in it... Well done Glasgow. Jensen would have in the 2nd leg too, no doubt. Shame the Witches couldn't fit Lanham in at the beginning of the season - they might have made the play-offs!
Willowman
Damn it. No final home meeting for me after missing the last two. Congratulations to Glasgow. Hope you can make a good account of yourselves in the final. Sounds good, doesn't it?
Gazc
Don't want to many fans of the the old firm there (mainly the rangers) scare the kids away. I would be careful knowing what team you support about scaring the kid's Trainspotting spring to mind.

Shame the Witches couldn't fit Lanham in at the beginning of the season - they might have made the play-offs! youre not wrong there and in hindsight put him in the Hawkins position and who knows.....Not the end of the world though - its only a game after all. Much more important things in life.
eide67
Well done to Glasgow - look forward to meeting you in the final. I was hoping to make it through today but couldn't - looks like I missed a cracker! Spud riding superbly at the moment and it looks like James Sarjeant proved to be your match-winner today. Here's hoping for two close exciting meetings in front of massive crowds to bring down the curtain on the 2015 season. May the best team win!
Rebel Warrior
Congratulations to Glasgow better team anyway, sadly referees decisions went against us in both matches (not a coincidence imo). When are meeting officials going to stamp down on Searjant jumping the gate.
DJEuan
Hopefully the final won't be as close as this afternoon was, my nerves won't be able to handle it. Edinburgh should win it as we're just not good if i am being honest. Palovaara was just a passenger today and we cant expect Sarjeant to bail us out like he did today. Even though the score was close the racing wasn't really up to much, if you gated you had a pretty good chance of staying ahead. Regarding Ht 2, the balls up the ref made really helped us although Andersen was miles behind the Glasgow pair when Ayres fell. BluPanther
well done to the man city of speedway. lots of if,s and butt,s over the 2 legs. but that's speedway. its been good following it on the updates site. P.S. aroundtheboards, you cant call the scottish fans j/cks, its raciest. just so you know for future ref. I would rather be called a 'Jock' than a 'Smelly sock' ....
MD
What a fantastic way to end the PL season, please Glasgow & Edinburgh promotions don't increase the gate money. Edinburgh £15 advance, £20 on the day. No doubt Glasgow will follow.
george.m
Bloomin' heck that was nerve wracking. Don't know what was worse today, or the Best Pairs Finals at Ashfield.
Cliffeboy
And the Rebels on the end of another controversy in the play offs, at least the majority say we was hard done by.
damosuzuki
What a fantastic way to end the PL season, please Glasgow & Edinburgh promotions don't increase the gate money. It was an incredible meeting. Had everything.... it was just electric pretty much start to finish. To end up even after 29 heats was nail biting stuff. Sarjent a hero. Good few up from Somerset and thanks to all the Monarchs who came along. I saw people from all over at the meeting, Workington, berwick etc etc. * Edin are charging 20 for tickets on the night but standard prices if purchased in advance. Glasgow not announced yet. My daughters partner is Welsh through and through but e often have the craic with me calling him a taffy and him calling me a cockney , get a life if i grow up much more , i will be dead . i had a post on here once and called and refereed to the Scottish as j8cks. i was promptly told it was raciest by the Scottish person.its just how you are brought up i suppose . dragged up or other wise. i remember a rider calley taffy owen. welsh i think he was . P.C. gone mad. still its what it is , isnt it white knuckle rider .
Cliffeboy
Rebels finish second in the fours after Cook takes out Wright in heat 3, and heat 2 is awarded to the Tigers after 2 laps, pattern emerging here maybe. Great stuff from my lot again, good double figure score from Brady after the stick he has taken on here👏
graeme624
Real reason for Somerset's defeat was the underperforming Josh - he scored a maximum last time here - and also the poor return from the reserve guests .Noone has mentioned Aaron's excellent effort either which proved to be crucial. lewy
I think if the rebs had stood by lanham when he had a slight dip in form he would have made the difference at this stage at least he would have been available it was a poor decision in hindsight
Endeavour
Wonder what referee will be appointed. Who can take RR rides for Kauko? Think Rebels we're let down by Josh today and Jonas. Was at Ashfield today. Bend 1 taking a few riders by surprise. will Glasgow go toward slick or thick next week? Think our two German boys could decide this final one way or the other. SharpenRake
My goodness that was close, but congratulations to all 7 riders and the manager. pity about speakers failing in the stand but didn't seem to matter to the crowd they were really up for it. well done in getting them working again, so glad we heard James, Richard and Aaron at the end! proud to be a tiger
