Cliffeboy
Real reason for Somerset's defeat was the underperforming Josh - he scored a maximum last time here - and also the poor return from the reserve guests .Noone has mentioned Aaron's excellent effort either which proved to be crucial.More tosh, what is going on here, Josh mechanical probs in heat 4 and not off the line heat 13, how on earth is that underperforming. The Tigers won a close match by 2 points by virtue of 4 points incorrectly awarded for heat 2. End of story, good luck in the final.
Endeavour
Not much passing today at Ashfield. Track caught few riders out.
Cliffeboy
I think if the rebs had stood by lanham when he had a slight dip in form he would have made the difference at this stage at least he would have been available it was a poor decision in hindsightUsual rubbish from you Lewy, good stuff from Rasmus since he came, may not have even been this far without him. How do you know Leigh would have made a difference.
cyclone
Rebels finish second in the fours after Cook takes out Wright in heat 3, and heat 2 is awarded to the Tigers after 2 laps, pattern emerging here maybe. Great stuff from my lot again, good double figure score from Brady after the stick he has taken on here👏 Â The only pattern that is emerging is that you're one of a growing band of Whinging Wurzels who bleat whenever things don't go their way, Â Bet you weren't at Redcar anyway, oh and btw, the ref was not Scottish either - he resides in Workington, so I suppose the conspiracy theorists will reckon it was one Cumbrian favouring another, Â The insinuation by some on here that Scottish refs are either incompetent/biased is racist and is one of many reasons why Little Englanders have an unpopular reputation with other nationalities. Â Rant over, well done Tigers and look forward to a super Final.
Weeyin
Fantastic meeting , commiserations to the rebels, James Sargeant take a bow young man, excellent performance , and captain marvel Aaron Summers another maximum ,just love watching him, hope kauko is okay, he has had no luck, just hope we put up a good fight against the monarchs, would love to wipe the smile of their smug faces

No didn't say anything about Scottish officials just pointed out that the Rebels have been on the wrong end of some poor decisions in important matches. Do you think heat 2 should have been awarded and would you have been okIf your team had lost due to it. As for the 4's read the texters comments, one point for Charles in the re run and none for Cook and Rebels win. It's not whinging it's an honest opinion. Its an opinion calm down you gambled on making a change it didn't work bringing in a rider that wasn't available for somr fixtures it cost you end of!You are a strange person, how did it not work then?, KO Cup winners, second in the table, and out off the play offs to a highly controversional decision in heat 2 today. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Whether you agree with/ like the changes Somerset made the one thing you can say is that they are always prepared to be bold. They certainly wont ever be left wondering 'what if'.
arnieg
were you there OT on Friday, not much if any contact think He was looking to go down, not the first or last to do that all the same hope Glasgow win the final. were you there OT on Friday, not much if any contact think He was looking to go down, not the first or last to do that all the same hope Glasgow win the final. Plenty of contact and an easy decision for the ref to exclude Jensen.
gusworld
Well done to the Tigers especially a huge points haul from Sargent and a max from Summers. I hope you can give the Monarchs a run for their money in the final. Once again the guests used by Somerset in the play offs have scored much less than expected. MD
The insinuation by some on here that Scottish refs are either incompetent/biased is racist No its not and playing the racist card is the weakest form of argument. We have one of the poorest referees I have ever seen in Willie Dishington. He's not biased but y f**k is he incompetent IMO. Hopefully he nor the Grand Monarch are in the box this weekend.
Gr8scot
As for the 4's read the texters comments, one point for Charles in the re run and none for Cook and Rebels win. Why would Craig get none??? He never touched Charles and if you watch the Rerun DVD you will hear Charles admit that fact when interviewed Well done to both teams today, sounds like a great meeting. Wish I'd been able to go...... Â I can't say I'm looking forward to Friday and Saturday but it is now officially "the final countdown" may the best team win (as long as their fans have blue & yellow tinted glasses on)

Fair play the red admitted the cock up but a re run could have gleaned a different result, and in a tight match it makes all the difference. As I said earlier good luck against the Monarchs in the final.
damosuzuki
Track seemed to cause Somerset most of the problems going into the first bend, which helped us, although Neiminen and Lawson both fell victim at different points. Andersen seemed to really struggle at times. Sarjeant, Summers, Lawson won it for us. Â Grajconec and Starke not firing on all cylinders, Danny Ayres just a bit out of his depth at this point in time. Â Somerset are a class side and I didn't picture us going through. Agreed ,but surely the Team managers pointed this out to the Ref,but if it was Dishington I can understand why they were wasting their time as he was trained by McGregor in the "I'm the ref go away".
