Cliffeboy
Last time Somerset were up they came into their own when the track slickened off. After each regrade they noticeably stopped winning races. Hopefully we get a fair bit of tractor work tomorrow! Also wish for some consistent refereeing, Starke should have walked in ht14 for jumping the start having been previously warned. Bring it on! Yeah so keep an eye on Sarjeant ref. Django
How can Somerset get a facility for Jensen when he's not riding in his own country? When Worky were at Redcar we could only use a NL rider at number 1 to cover for Hansen as he was riding in Sweden and similarly when we rode at Rye House on a Sunday and he was in Poland. I'm sure some bright spark with a rule book will tell me but it strikes me as double standards

cyclone
Be interesting to see how many Celtic F.C. Season ticket holders will be taking up this offer of freebies for the match :- http://www.celticfc.net/news/9255 Will the Tigers be appearing in green stripes and now be known as the Tiger Bhoys

That's the difference. All the best Rob

KIRKYLANE
With a close 1st leg , then this tie now reverts to which team is going to " do the business " today
SharpenRake
In the best interest of speedway, was this offer made to Rangers (other teams are available) season ticket holders? Didn't think Rangers had any season ticket holders or was that during the Green era!
damosuzuki
I can feel a lot of excitement in the air. Might be our biggest home crowd since monarchs in the cup. Still think it's a very difficult tie, but HERE WE GO!

All the best Rob That's fair enough but the KOC fixture against Rye was agreed after the start of the season when the Polish fixtures were out. All depends on which team you are as to what rules apply!
TheScotsman
Didn't think Rangers had any season ticket holders or was that during the Green era! Think the 35,000 season ticket holders might disagree with you!!
Gazc
Didn't think Rangers had any season ticket holders or was that during the Green era! Rangers have had more season ticket holders than the other mob every year for the last 4 my thinking behind it is that on Giro week they may have got a response as they would be able to keep all there money for the Hair Lacquer & Milk .

2ndbendbeerhut
So the ref makes a booboo, admits it a few heats later and the Rebels can't do anything about it! Could cost the Rebels a final place.... But only got themselves to blame for not knowing the rules..... Another case of speedway not being a real sport! Triple.H.
Maybe Celtic were the most open to the idea though I'm fairly sure the forward thinking Glasgow promotion will no doubt try to extend the offer to other teams in various sports in the area. Let's face it if one or two become diehard attendees it's worked. probably more likely people may cherrypick an odd meeting or two if they enjoyed their freebee. Maybe all clubs could try a similar offer or even give 4 tickets for the next match as a raffle prize as most sports clubs have 50-50 draws. They could even call it The Booby Prize
