Glasgow V Somerset Pl Play Off 2nd Leg . Sunday 11th Oct 2015 At 3pm

This is a bit of a joke.

A bit like when Glasgow used Covatti as a guest for Sarjeant. All teams will used the best guests available and exploit situations where they can have a guest on a false average.

To be fair Jensen is a very potent reserve as Starke was so i fail to see what difference it makes wether it was Jensen or as it is now Anderson both will clean up at reserve just need our top 5 to hold our own or better there top 5.

Very true Cliffeboy..... but it's the away leg he's missing.

Anyway, Andersen only scored 8 from 5

rides (Av. 6.4) when Redcar went there so not sure what the fuss is about really?

Scored 10 in the Peugeot Championship. Finished 3rd behind Summers and Grajczonek in semi final.

Jensen average 5.92, Andersen 5.6. What's the problem? I think it's called 'astute management'.

Yes I know that , what happened to a facility for FIM meetings only ? I know any promotion has to do the best for their team , but it's just annoying when youre on the receiving end . Andersen could easily score double figures on Sunday , which just makes a difficult task even more difficult .

Or maybe we could get him to have a wee word with Kenneth Hansen haha

Facilities tend to be available these days mate, if the rider already had a meeting at the time that the meeting was arranged. Somerset have replaced one trump card at reserve with another.

The Glasgow management would have done exactly the same; just as they strengthened up by using Covatti for Sarjeant earlier in the year.

All the best

For anyone heading up early on Sunday, the remaining Red Road flats are being blown down around mid-day with a few local road closures. This will also include closing the train line from Cumbernauld to Queen St for a bit. All should be done by 3pm though!

Looks like this will be the last meeting at ashfield unless a miracle happens I really can't see us winning any leg, I love being proved wrong though. Somerset just look strong throughout and will be a match for our lads. Victor and james need to have good meetings at home if we have any chance.

Yes Baba that's how I feel. I hope we can carry a very close result to Ashfield and make it an event. A couple of gates from Sarjeant required, who cares if he gets any waarnings. And Victor on form. If everyone rides like they can, we are in with a shout but it looks tough.

Would love nick to hit close to a max down the oak tree and the rest to chip in 30.

This seasons been full of surprises so I hope there's still a few to come.

He has been pretty disappointing this season. Having dropped the best part of a point off his average last year with Somerset, im sure the thinking in the camp was that he could put it back on with us but its not happened, dropping marginally again to 7.91.
