ColinMills
and quite rightly your choice..as I said in the past, though it was years ago, I paid £10 to watch ricko/gollob/Louis verses Hamill/hancock....im not spending double to watch whats currently on offer. im sure you see some great races, but not for me, this "entertainment" dished up if you live near a NL track, or prem track, I suppose you know little else. John Berry gave me years and years of quality.. I just don't like lower level speedway

proud panther
The FTR is here to stay, & with a few of this years riders likely to move into the 1-5, the Elite League will be weaker.

It may weaken the league, but how else are these kids going to improve ? If they stay where they are eventually they will go stale.
Ben91
The problem with the draft has been that reserves have been protected, riders aren't going to improve if they're only racing other draft riders and second strings, the majority of whom they race week in week out in the PL. Bringing Brits through is good but there was no need to change the race format to do so. Newman/Garrity etc are not good enough to be EL second strings yet, they should be starting at reserve again next year with the provision that the race format returns to the one used in the PL and NL still and once they get averages they move up the riding order if their averages dictate that they should. If they are replaced they must be replaced by another young Brit however much they are averaging at the time.

Spot on The Draft system is about saving money not developing riders EL racing should feature EL riders in the old format
heathen chemistry
they will be starting at reserve nxt season, but they will start on a converted pl average and if after 4 matches there average is still high enough they will go into the top 5 of course like always this rule is open to abuse, a team that can get a top five rider to have a so called bad run of form etc can go to reserve , and teams will manipulate this come play off time Edited October 19, 2015 by heathen chemistry
