ProudtobeaBrummie
Basford will score zero every meeting vs brum .. Our reserves were our weak link last year picking up 1-4 points a meeting we were normally around 6-7 points down at reserve each meeting.. Basford isn't good enough I'm afraid but good luck to him . pete cc
I'm just stating a fact.... Like Petecc said because of the trick track. i didn't cal it a trick track but one thats got its home advantage. I think Monmore will be the same next year. Sings4Speedway
Basford confirmed. Still think the rest of the team is solid enough providing they can bond to be there at the business end of the season.
teaboy279
Tbf that's a league winning team in my eyes. With 2 proper number ones. And Chessell and Kingston both on averages a lot lower then they are capable of. Basford will score ok too.
TurnTwo
Team wih A LOT of potential but it only takes Kingston and chessel to both have one of their off nights and you're down to a 2 man team in my eyes. Say Morris and clegg get 28 points between them Purchase picks up 3 Andrews 3 Basford 1 Chessel 4 Kingston 4 That's only 43 very much like last years birmingham team without a superstar reserve be good to see how they all get on round monmore too
Ben91
If Chessell can stay on his bike he could be a heatleader in the NL. Kingston has potential but he's had a very good season of he ends nearer a seven point average than a five.
Islander15
The two with the biggest potential to increase their average are two of the most inconsistent riders in the league! If they both have a good season, and I especially think Chessell will, then they're top 3 imo.
pete cc
The big question is can we win all our home meetings, pick up enough points on the road & get a big enough lead over Eastbourne in the play off final? Then win the team ko cup? ommer um

kiwi
Of all the tracks though monmore green is closest in shape and size to Eastbourne
Brummiestormer
Wolverhampton is a more uniform shape and i would never complain about the racing i have seen there but Eastbourne on the other hand is shaped like an egg and there more than most tracks riders making mistakes allows home riders to sail past with impunity and if Eastbourne fans are happy to win like that fair enough---just don't ask me to like it
Northern monkey
Wouldn't say wolves is similar to Eastbourne,if anything Buxton is more similar in size and both look difficult to ride.im intrigued as to how Andrews will take to the small tracks as I hear tracks in Australia are quite big

Gillman is 300m, Mildura 302m. Undera, Kurri Kurri & Gosford are all 320m. Among recent regular tracks only North Brisbane at 350 metres could really be described as large. The big tracks like Claremont, Sydney Showground, Rowley Park are all long gone. Rosebank is 294m by the way.

Tommy Sweetman
Where is this place in Brieley Hill that Nigel Pearson has tweeted that could have been the home of Cradley. He says it now cant happen because the proposed Metro line is going straight through the middle of the site. I thought the new line was supposed to be on the old freight tracks that are still in place. Cant recognise from the picture where exactly in Brieley Hill this site is. Havent seen the tweet, but I'm guessing Canal Street, I was told it was to be used as a Depot for Building Hardware for the proposed new Metro, and like you I understood the new Metro was supposed to be the old Freight line. Canal Street, Dudley end of Brierley Hill, where the old Bus Depot used to be for those of a certain generation that can remember .
