Alan_Jones
As stated earlier in the thread Holder is tied down South for the next season or two due to his visa sponsors............. RP He can still go on loan and remain under the supervision of his current sponsor or transfer to a team with a sponsorship licence.
tyretrax
Still feeling bitter and twisted wee George (aka The Possilpark Poison Dwarf) ? So that's ex Monarch Aaron Summers getting his P45 now How many people named George do you know at Ashfield?
Red Panda
He can still go on loan and remain under the supervision of his current sponsor or transfer to a team with a sponsorship licence. I still doubt he would go anywhere other than somewhere down South............he lives with his brother so unlikely he will go anywhere too far North.............same goes for Brady Kurtz............lives with the Holder brothers and unlikely to go too far North............ Gazc
Still feeling bitter and twisted wee George (aka The Possilpark Poison Dwarf) ? So that's ex Monarch Aaron Summers getting his P45 now Should really get your fact's straight before posting but then again do you ever Aaron saw the light and done what every aspiring youngster wants, to ride for Glasgow the imposed ban on anything grumbleweed from the east has only just kicked in . SharpenRake
Victor is ok when he gates , hasn't got the racer bit in him to try and come from the back if he doesn't . I agree Victor was totally unpredictable but he has proved he can pass, a stunning move around Ostergaard comes to mind. yet in other races he followed people around. Just wonder if track preparation has something to do with it. Aaron and Richard are experienced and can adjust set-ups but Vic is still learning and perhaps he felt unsure how to adapt???/ Re-Fisher and PK assume this is Stewart up to his tricks again. telling people don't tell anyone but we've got ?????? lined up for next year. We must Have Richard and Aaron back both are in the top 10 of the averages for 2015 and why spend money buying them if they weren't going to be used for more than one year, from there on its down to averages and who'll fit, who'll travel and who isn't riding abroad on a sunday.
george.m
Still feeling bitter and twisted wee George (aka The Possilpark Poison Dwarf) ? Didn't know I was bitter and twisted, but hey, if you say so it must be. Must have been someone else who made the post on the meeting thread after Edinburgh's deserved win. BTW if you get personal with posters expect something in return. Finally, thanks for the amusement you've given our household ... you're not to know this but ... "dwarf"! ... couldn't be further from the truth! LOL!

cyclone
Hope the initiative for the Play Off semi-final vs Somerset went well, and plenty of Celtic fans took advantage of the free tickets, and will now become regulars at Ashfield. The Facenna's should perhaps now approach Dermot Desmond for sponsorship, with a view to making Ashfield an indoor arena covered by a Green Dome
Cupidstunt
Glasgow will be using Lawson and Summers why would they buy them then not use them

SharpenRake
lets get this back to who is likely to be riding for the tigers in 2016 and who we'd like to see taking into account it looks like Sundays again - in other words no Anders Thomsen, Craig Cook, Max Fricke, etc! Wouldn't it be nice if you could retain your 7 riders for the following year, chopping and changing can't help with team spirit , sponsors, etc. But believe its still 42.5 for team building which means we have to lose a rider or two from our current seven - there average come to 46.9. Richard, Aaron and James are musts - all getting better, all passionate about the tigers, good with the fans, don't need to fly them in and out of the country and good from a marketing/sponsors point of view. With the NL fast track rider at no.7 that would mean 4 riders 25.49 leaving 17.01 to accommodate 3 other riders. The 4th rider is crucial as he will be the 3rd heat leader - would Nick come back. Despite some critics on here his real average, fromSpeedway Star is 8.31, with his official average from BSPA 7.91. So yes I'd have him back - just need the track to be prepared more consistent at home. That brings you up to 33.4, so 9.1 for 2 riders. Suggestions? Gazc
I don't see Nick being back he has made clear he just can't get to grips with Ashfield. His replacement or what I believe will be Richie Worrall just over a full point below Nick and a very able replacement would leave more scope for second strings.
damosuzuki
I'd take Ritchie tbh. He can ride Ashfield and also is good in a scuffle. I think as you say Morris is a non starter. Sarj's average is potentially only going up so would def want hi. Plus he's a nice wee guy.

damosuzuki
If we have Summers and Lawson we should potentially have two number ones, but realistically - and I don't think it can happen due to our assets - You want Cook if he is riding in the premier. No Criticism of anyone but he is head and shoulders at the moment. However, an on form Lawson and captain fantastic look (almost) top notch. I really want us to be able to do it next year. We need to the best from the NL we can get for example - but I suppose on the other side looking at Kauko's average and his abscence we have been missing something for quite some time. We have the advantage that riders want to come here if they are ambitious. Edited October 21, 2015 by damosuzuki
Solidmango
What about: C Cook 10.35 R Lawson 9.12 A Summers 8.37 J Sarjeant 5.00 M Clegg 3.48 AN Other 3.18 NL Rider 3.00 We would have more than 3.48 for the final rider if the ruling on lower averages still applies for using British riders.
