Bagpuss
Typical BSPA ineptitude. Buster & co could redeem themselves by meeting both promotions round a table and getting their differences ironed out once and for all.

Positive Thinker
Are the semi-finals seeded? In past years, yes. Offering a reasonable share of bigger names to each staging track, ensuring riders get their home track (to aid attendance) and avoiding fixture clashes -- if a rider was racing in another UK meeting on a semi-final night, they would seed him away from that semi. However, it is going to be interesting to see just how strong the fields are. 32 UK riders, and a few of the more-mature guys usually body-swerve entering the British Championship (because of low pay rate) in any case? Thanks. So it would be reasonable to assume that Woffinden and Harris would be kept apart in the draw?
damosuzuki
I'm hoping common sense prevails, and we agree to get rid of this rule for Glasgow and Edinburgh. The Cities in England are far enough for this to make sense, but it's a loophole up here (and only because Edinburgh are so far out of the city in our direction) - Glasgow and Edinburgh are separate. Let both clubs run when they like and they can both prosper.

SharpenRake
Good to see an agreed date for the semi. Good to hear that Scunthorpe and Redcar both helped out in order to make it happen - cooperation at last!

He was quite the showman in his early years, but became stale in his final years at Rye House Edited March 12, 2016 by Shads

TheScotsman
So if wuffy & harris tweed are in the GP on the Sunday and presumably at the practice on the Friday, when do they ride their semis? Or have they been fed direct into the final? Doesn't seem like Friday & Sunday were the best choice of dates.
Pogo1
Hence the reason Glasgow wanted to host there semi final on Friday 20th .
