Fenway Bleachers
For anyone sober in the Possilpark area can I recommend the current Panto playing at the State de le Weegie performed by the Facenna Thespians. The production goes by "The Wizard of Baws" title acted out on the Yellow Sick Road. Spud Summers plays Dorothy as his was the best hair fit. He looks resplendent in red and white striped mini skirt and Pink Dr Martens. Ben Barker is a natural scarecrow in search of a brain. Stewart Dickson plays the tin foil man looking for a ticker and Dicky Lawson as the feckless lion...out on limited parole from Craig Cooks back pocket. Nick Morris has a brief cameo as the Wicked Witch. (Boo!) and Michael Facenna plays the great Oz promising everyone a safe trip to the promised land if only he can plead with the Kings from the East. The production is pants but the highlights of the evening were the Bucky and Bridie combo served at the interval by some clown in a Tigger suit, and the smell of something sweet being smoked in the gents cludgy. Be sure to wander along if you can. Season tickets are not eligible. Car parking a snip at a tenner, with the under age attendants charging double if you don't want the side of your vehicle autographed by the cast Merry Christmas to all our friends from the West. Have a happy safe and healthy 2016, good luck with pursuit of the runners up spot again

Shale Searcher
Just read on the Rye House page the conversion from EL to PL average is 1.4x, does anyone fancy Chris Harris (7.34*1.4 = 10.28) over Richard at 9.12?.

HadrianDog
riders havnt been able to double down for a few years now and also there was a rule that a current gp rider couldnt ride prem league i think if the rider was allready riding prem league and qualiffied that was different Given the currant paucity of riders there are available for any leagues, perhaps the rules need to be looked at. Were they brought in on cost cutting grounds or to stop the richer clubs from 'buying' the title for example.
scaramanga
personaly i dont think the title can be bought not as in riders maybe in the influance of some team owners/promotors with the bspa obviously some riders will be influanced byt richer clubs but it doesnt garuntee sucsess on track
