SCB
2 things that could change that 1 - brit reduction 2 - change in number of meetings used in calculation of rolling averages from the year he achieved 4.67. Is the reduction applied now or at first recalculation? 1 - Good point. 2 - It was applied on first recalculation last season. But that means nothing now! Ben91
1 - Good point. 2 - It was applied on first recalculation last season. But that means nothing now! Last season would have been his third year since achieving his first PL average so I assume there's no reduction despite him not riding PL in 2015. damosuzuki
Thanks very much for that info!!!! The result is I am indeed well over. So say they were to sign Ellis, Lawson, Worrall they would need another 3 pointer at 6. Edited November 16, 2015 by damosuzuki
MANSE
Ellis is not in the Glasgow team Damosuzuki save you anymore trouble with his average
damosuzuki
I was just adding him in because he's been mentioned on here, tbh. I haven't seen him quoted anywhere else. Surprised Lawson not being announced yet.
Paulco
I was just adding him in because he's been mentioned on here, tbh. I haven't seen him quoted anywhere else. Surprised Lawson not being announced yet. We don't really know that he hasn't . Some clubs like a big announcement of their 1-7 at the same time , others like to drip feed the signings over a period of time . We seem to be in the latter bracket
damosuzuki
Read that Q&A on the tigers website and liked what they said about the league and potential for change - particularly that they appreciate the advantages the Premier offers. Looking at the teams rolling out I'd expect next season to be really exciting.
Gazc
Fourth signing will be announced later this week.
SharpenRake
Just wonder if some of the 'leaks' have caused problems with negotiaions? we were 'meant' to be signing Roynon, apparently, but he then signed for the comets. Some teams appear to be spending silly money, if you believe other posts on here and maybe other teams are offering more - keep hearing Richie worral being associated with the monarchs. I suppose we'll find out soon enough after all its not even December yet!
damosuzuki
Yeah. I've really no idea, have just been regurgitating stuff I hear on this forum. At some point Barker and Worral seem to have been assumed as signings. However, according to otheer teams threads he's signing for about 6 teams for next season. Never assume anything...................it can only lead to trouble............. Ellis may well double up but based on the fact he has signed for Poole and lives about 15 miles out of Poole I would think he could end up at Somerset or Plymouth.............. RP Ach, I just enjoy guessing and adding up the averages tbh. I trust them to put together a decent team. Lawson and Summers being about as good as anything that'll come to Ashfield. RP Distance wouldn't be an issue as we'd just fly him up and back in the club Lear Jet . Anyway those of us who aren't of the " I know something you don't know " variety of supporter just throw names about on here to keep us amused . It's what gets us through the long , dark speedwayless winter months . And also , in the wake of the sorry Kevin Wolbert saga , from now on any prospective Tiger will have to pass the fit and proper person investigation first . If any said person has watched at least three episodes of Rebus , bought a Proclaimers CD , been tempted to go to a Hearts or Hibs football match , possess a blue and gold t-shirt or jacket , ate shortbread and have a liking for riding on trams , then they are barred from wearing the Stripes .
